Shakira shook her famous hips last night for David Letterman, appearing on his show to perform her latest single "Loca" off her new album, Sale el Sol/The Sun Comes Out.

Lindsay Lohan is now back at the Lynwood Correctional Facility after Judge Elden Fox denied the starlet the opportunity to post bail after sentencing her to 30 days behind bars.

X17online has learned that Lohan will remain in jail until October 22, and unlike last time, she won't be getting out early. We spoke to CBS News legal analyst and criminal defense attorney Trent Copeland to hear his thoughts on Lindsay's fate.

Copeland says Judge Fox felt as though he had "egg on the face" ...considering Lindsay had no regard for her probation rules. As a result, Copeland adds, the judge is making Lilo "face the music."

She hid behind a towel as she was whisked away in the back of an unmarked car, and we're told Lindsay was stunned when she heard Judge Fox's ruling. Hopefully this shocks some sense into her!

After Lindsay Lohan was taken straight to jail from the Beverly Hills courthouse this morning, her father Michael spoke at the press conference, and he blasted Lindsay's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley and his ex-wife Dina for "destroying" his daughter.

Michael stated that he's been asking for Lindsay to go to rehab all along, and he said that he protested her going to UCLA as well, due to the shortness of her stay. "I feel Shawn and the people around Lindsay are responsible," Michael said. "They are destroying my daughter, and I am praying Dina finally gets on the same page as me."

Michael added that it's about getting Lindsay "on the right path" because she "doesn't know better." After failing two drug tests this month, Judge Elden Fox showed no mercy on the actress, as he sent her straight to Lynwood Correctional Facility, where she could stay for up to 30 days.

Judge Fox has denied Lindsay bail and has sent her straight to jail until October 22nd.

But due to the overcrowding situation in California, it's possible that she won't spend more than a day in jail.

Lindsay seemed shocked (once again) when she was denied bail and put into cuffs while still in the courtroom.

Lindsay was taken away in an unmarked police car, a towel blocking any view of her in the backseat.

UPDATE: 9:26am -- Lindsay Lohan was taken away in an unmarked police car, a towel blocking any view of her in the back seat. Michael Lohan watched her leave, very emotionally, telling photographers to "let me see my daughter!"

UPDATE: 9:11am -- Lindsay was denied bail and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

UPDATE 8:20am -- Lindsay, Dina and Michael are all inside the courtroom awaiting Judge Fox's decision.

UPDATE 8:17am -- Lindsay has arrived with Dina and her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, wearing a knee-length white skirt, black top and black blazer.

UPDATE 7:54am -- Michael Lohan showed up with evangelical preacher Jay Koopman. He told X17online that Dina can't have him arrested for violating his restraining order "if I get there first!" Looks like he did, so we'll see if he stays!

Michael Lohan spoke to X17online exclusively just before arriving to the Beverly Hills courthouse where Lindsay will face Judge Fox for her failed drug test.

Due to a years-old restraining order Dina has against him, rumor has it that Dina will have him arrested if he steps into the courtroom.

However, Michael tells X17online that it won't happen if he reaches the courtroom first.

"She can't have me arrested if I get there first," Michael told us exclusively. "I can tell them I don't want her there," he said. "What's wrong with her? Why would she want to create more rifts in Lindsay's life?"
