LeAnn Rimes is defending her relationship with Eddie Cibrian yet again ... this time by schooling Wendy Williams for calling her relationship to Cibrian "very sloppy."

On her syndicated talk show, Williams, 46, chats about LeAnn's Shape Magazine interview in which the country crooner discusses her failed marriage to Dean Sheremet. At one point, Williams tells her audience, "It's all very sloppy. The boys have a mother, and her name is Brandi [Glanville]."

Rimes, 28, blasted Williams with the following tweet:

"All I know is Wendy Williams done pissed my mamma off! I don't wanna be in her path. To say, 'I've reserved myself a place in hell?!' I'm incredibly disappointed to see someone with that kind of platform use it for such negativity and could be so mean and judgmental about a situation they know nothing about...I don't like how it happened either, said it a million times, but this is out of control."

Looks like Mr. Cibrian has a tough country cookie on his hands. You go, girl!

We're not sure if Julia Roberts was cracking a joke with Eat Pray Love co-star Javier Bardem or giving him some insight as to what life will be like as a dad (his gorgeous wife Penelope Cruz just confirmed she's four-and-a-half months pregnant), but the two shared a laugh as they posed at the Rome premiere of their new flick. Aww, they must have really enjoyed working together -- who doesn't love Julia Roberts?

We wondered if it might be a hoax, but since I'm Still Here was repeatedly billed as a documentary chronicling Joaquin Phoenix's pursuit of a rap career, we weren't sure what to make of it.

Director Casey Affleck has finally admitted that the whole thing was one big fake, and that Phoenix was acting the entire time. “It’s a terrific performance, it’s the performance of his career,” Mr. Affleck told the NY Times. “The reviews were so angry. I never intended to trick anybody. The idea of a quote, hoax, unquote, never entered my mind."

“There were multiple takes, these are performances,” Affleck continued, referring specifically to scenes that portrayed drug use and Phoenix involving himself with prostitutes. Affleck said he also had to convince Phoenix’s agent at WME Entertainment that he wanted Phoenix to act the part in public, but surprisingly he went along with it. "You would think he would have me killed immediately,” he joked.

A jubilant Gwen Stefani walked the runway at the end of her L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 show at fashion week in NYC last night, and the rocker/mom/designer looked absolutely thrilled with the presentation. There's a lot going on with her outfit, but you gotta admit, she pulls it off quite well! And bringing little Kingston onstage with her? So cute!

Britney Spears took her young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to the Topanga Mall in Woodland Hills yesterday afternoon, and the happy family (plus a small army of security guards) spent about two hours shopping at the monstrous center. Britney (who was looking very beautiful, we might add!) carried Jayden in her arms, and Sean Preston hammed it up as he held hands with the nanny. We can't believe how big the boys are getting!

Yesterday we spotted Katie Holmes attending the Calvin Klein show in NYC, and Mrs. Tom Cruise wore a timeless and chic trench, oversize glasses and a sly smile on her face as she headed in to the fashion week event.

P.S. Where's Suri? We were expecting her to sit front row to critique the couture!

LiLo has had a busy few days of car-swapping, hair-dyeing and bra-forgetting - and in the middle of it all found time to Tweet about her mom Dina's birthday yesterday afternoon! Such a supportive daughter.

As for today, a red-headed Linds first rushed to meet with her probation officer and just now we caught up with the 24-year-old stocking up on snacks (chips and soda to be exact!) with pal Lady Victoria in Santa Monica.

Hmm, yesterday LiLo picked up some fro-yo in Bev Hills with her other BFF Eilat. What's with all the junk food, girl? Lindsay still must be making up for all that bad prison food she had to endure!
