Hot mom Jenny McCarthy wore a Grecian Goddess two-piece to host the Midsummer Night’s Dream event at the Palms Pool & Bungalows in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Showing off a body that would make younger women jealous, McCarthy, 37, who recently split from longtime love Jim Carrey, has not only found a new look, but a new gig, as talk show host for Oprah's new network.

She's already agreed to take on the role of female icon Cleopatra, but now Jolie may be sinking her teeth into a 20th century legend, Marilyn Monroe.

Andrew O'Hagan, who wrote The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog says that Jolie is set to play the famous blonde bombshell in the screen version of his novel, reports The Telegraph.

The book follows Marilyn's last two years through the eyes of her pet, Maf (short for "Mafia"), a Maltese terrier which was a gift from Sinatra in 1960.

Scarlett Johansson was previously mentioned for the Monroe role, as was Mad Men's Christina Hendricks.

George Clooney is apparently playing Frank Sinatra in the film.

Mel Gibson was involved in a car accident on Malibu Canyon Road last night, but managed to walk away unharmed. DUI is "not suspected," however reports claim that the actor may have fallen asleep at the wheel.

The CHP confirms to X17online that Gibson, 54, lost control of his 2008 Maserati at 8:35pm and struck a rocky hillside. No other parties were involved in the wreck, and the incident is being treated as "property damage."

Gibson's car was towed from the scene.

Back in July 2006, Gibson was arrested in Malibu for driving under the influence. It was during that arrest that the actor went on the now-infamous anti-Semitic rant. In October 2009, a judge agreed to expunge Mel Gibson's conviction since he had completed the terms of his probation which included attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, performing public service announcements and paying $1,300 in fines.

Beyonce Knowles may be taking some time off, but that's not to have a baby because, as the star reveals, she's still too "ambitious."

"My ambition is to continue to learn about the world and to eventually have a family," she told You magazine, adding that she's planning "no dates, no times – it will happen when I am ready."

But Beyonce, who is debuting a new perfume called "Heat", says her life is so hectic that she already feels like a woman who has a child. "Probably the biggest challenge in my life is time – making sure I have time to be a wife, to be a singer, to be a songwriter, to be an actor and still have time for my clothing line and now for my perfume. I am like any other woman who has a child, who has a husband, who has a job. I think it’s the hardest thing about being a woman because we have so many responsibilities."

She may not be ready to take on an additional one right now, but we can't imagine the 29-year-old will be waiting until she has an Oscar to start trying for a little Jay-Z junior!

The promo for the next season of America's Next Top Model, featuring contestant Ann Markley with the "smallest waist in the world," has been accused of promoting an unhealthy body image for young women. Executive producer Tyra Banks is now saying sorry for the "misconstrued" message.

In the promotional spot, fellow judge Miss J. Alexander puts his hands around the 6-foot, 2-inch 19-year-old model's waist showing off just how small her midsection is. Host Jay Emmanuel also jokes that another judge will be dieting on "Tic Tacs and watercress for the rest of the season."

Tyra released the following apology:

“In an effort to create a fun and entertaining sneak peak of the upcoming cycle, America’s Next Top Model released a trailer that was edited in way that misconstrued our overarching message. As a leader in celebrating and promoting healthy body image, I must admit that I regrettably didn’t see this clip before it was released to the public, (with multiple Top Model departments, it’s just impossible to review everything) but on behalf of the Top Model team, these were not the intentions, and we truly apologize for any confusion, anger or disappointment it may have caused.

The passionate response the trailer has evoked proves that the message to promote and celebrate all different — healthy and natural –- body types has resonated with our viewers and I’m so proud of every one of you who voiced your opinion and participated in this conversation. Penelope Cruz's little sister Monica showed that Pene wasn't the only one with the good looks in the family while frolicking on the beach in Ibiza yesterday.

Wearing a sweet white bikini, Monica could almost even be mistaken for Penelope herself!

The sisters are incredibly close and even design a line for clothing company Mango together -- but unfortch that's not the case with Penelope's sister-in-law, who's also named Monica!

“Penelope has known Monica for years, but she definitely got off on the wrong foot as a new family member," a source recently revealed of Javier Bardem's sister. “It may seem trite, but privacy is very, very important to Penelope. She told Javier she doesn’t want his family sticking their noses into their business. If this happens again, it could hurt the marriage.”

After three years of marriage and one adorable little girl, Katie Holmes is still star struck by her own husband.

When questioned on whether or not Katie would ever consider working with Tom, she replied, "Well, we do collaborate on everything at home. But I mean, he’s Tom Cruise! His body of work is incredible. Every movie he’s done has done really well. I look back, and everything’s a classic. I definitely come home and say to him, 'So, imagine a scene … how would you play it?' And he’s helpful and sweet and gracious. He’s quite an incredible human being."

It sounds like they're still in the honeymoon phase! But Tom wasn't the only Cruise Katie was gushing over.

"[Suri’s] so creative and she’s so bright and so special," Katie told New York Magazine. "Whatever she wants to do, I know she’s going to be amazing at it. I’ve already started my applause, and I will be applauding for the rest of my life."

But we'll probably be applauding for Katie when her new film The Romantics comes out next month. If you haven't seen the trailer, it promises to be her best new film in years!
