Reese Witherspoon may be the monogamous, mothering type in real life, but in the new trailer for her latest rom-com, How Do You Know, she plays a woman who isn't sure that "traditional life" is for her -- until she meets Paul Rudd.

The film, written and directed by James L. Brooks (As Good As It Gets) seems to have it all -- a great cast with Reese, Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Jack Nicholson, a funny love triangle and most of all, Reese looking hotter than she has since Legally Blonde!

Looks like Jennifer Lopez may be taking one of the coveted judge's chairs on American Idol afterall. AI Producer Nigel Lythgoe denies that J Lo's diva demands have taken her out of the running.

Lythgoe, who confirms that next season's show will only have three judges, tells Extra, "Hello? These people don't know Jennifer Lopez. She's a wonderful woman. I've never seen her be a diva in her life!"

As for Aerosmith's Steven Tyler joining the show, he adds, "I don't know. Is that the rumor you've heard? They haven't called me yet. They gotta lay out the bread for me!"

Rihanna is just weeks away from beginning to film her first major motion picture, Battleship, but with the film's massive $200 million budget, Universal may be having second thoughts.

The action movie, based on Hasbro's board game, will be directed by Peter Berg. As far as the cast ... Rihanna, Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard are linked with the project that begins shooting in Hawaii at the end of this month.

With Comcast finalizing their deal with NBC Universal, execs are handling the production cautiously ... especially since the studio, who have a reputation for overblown budgets, has not recently had a major hit with the exception of Despicable Me. Some studio insiders fear that Battleship could follow in the footsteps of the ill-fated Waterworld.

Universal chairman Adam Fogelson tells THR, "It's a big bet like many, many big bets from many studios. We will be nowhere near the high point and nowhere near the low point of what people are spending."

One promising aspect ... the Hasbro board game Battleship has brought in more than $1 billion in revenue and has sold more than 100 million units.

Will plans for this $200 million flick stay afloat? For RiRi's sake, we hope so.

"Just finished our family portrait for NOH8 Campaign. proud moment for The McDermotts!" Tori wrote as she left Adam Bouska's studio just minutes before offering to marry all the same-sex couples who can begin getting hitched next week.

Emmy-nominated Mad Men actress Elisabeth Moss has split from her husband of only 10 months, SNL's Fred Armisen, according to a new report.

"Fred and Elisabeth separated in May. Fred is currently in Portland, Ore. on the set of his new series Portlandia. Elisabeth is in LA focusing on her career and spending quiet time with friends," a source told Life & Style.

Calls to their publicists were not immediately returned.

The couple got married last October after a 9 month engagement. Elisabeth is set to appear on the Emmys as a Best Supporting Actress, Drama nominee on August 29th.

Step Up 2: The Streets and Step Up 3D director Jon Chu has signed on to direct the 3D biopic of Justin Bieber's life, which is set for a Valentine's Day release.

"This is gonna be CHUCK NORRIS BIG" the director tweeted along with the above vid in which the Biebs announces his involvement. "It's Official... I HAVE BIEBER FEVER," he later wrote.

Hilary Duff stopped by a nail salon with her sister Haylie Thursday afternoon right before she's reportedly set to leave for her weekend wedding in Santa Barbara.

Hilary is said to be getting hitched to her hockey-player beau Mike Comrie at the San Ysidro Ranch this weekend, where John and Jackie Kennedy took their honeymoon.

Comrie proposed with a one million dollar rock just about six months ago, but recently it seems like their wedding plans have been in hyper-drive!

Hilary's been working out practically non-stop and earlier this week, Comrie had a bachelor party at LA hotspot Trousdale, says Page Six!

"He was with seven friends, and they sat in a VIP booth drinking vodka," a spy said. But Hil had nothing to worry about -- "They had a great time, but Mike was pretty well behaved."

Michael Lohan is fuming at ex wife Dina after her Today Show interview with Matt Lauer where she said she thinks Judge Marsha Revel was too harsh in her sentencing of Lindsay because Lilo was working on fulfilling her court-mandated drug and alcohol classes.

This morning, Lindsay's mom told Lauer:

"I think she went overboard and played serious hardball with Lindsay... [She didn't deserve jail] for this particular offense. She violated... actually, didn't violate... she was in for missing a couple of classes that she made up, and she was working at the time. The judge went overboard and put her in serious lockdown for two weeks."

In response to Dina's interview, Michael Lohan tells X17online exclusively:

"I think Dina needs the rehab for her denial, lies and other "things". It was one lie after another. Dina was never a Rockette and her mother was NEVER on a soap or radio ( show me where) ... my son is NOT doing a movie Dina is producing.

Linds needs Family therapy with Dina and me. Something that has been recommended by professionals for years but Dina won't. Its all about money and controlling Lindsay and my kids to Dina when she has failed miserably and it should be about our childrens well being.

Dina and I caused this and WE need to fix it( AS PARENTS). Its sad that Dina would continue on this course at the risk our children and God She does try to stop me from seeing then. I do and have seen them recently, but I might have to bring her back to court and even CPS , as I have court ordered visitation and Dina neglects our other minor children. Dina needs the rehab. And maybe jail would "suit" her. The only thing Dina got right in the interview is, "NOTHING HAS CHANGED". To that I agree. As long as Dina is in denial, if Lindsay comes out on ANY prescription drugs, if Dina AND Lindsay associate themselves with any of the same people and if WE don't get family therapy. MY Bet is, this was only a band aid."

As for when Lindsay will be leaving the UCLA Medical Center, Dina would only say "soon."
