Jersey Shore's Snooki (aka Nicole Polizzi) has lost a bid to trademark her famous nickname.

The US Patent Office refused to approve the pint-sized star's application to trademark "Snooki" for an upcoming book because the name had already been registered for a children's book, "Adventures of Snooky," about a cat who gets knocked overboard while on a family fishing trip, says TSG.

But her bid for a patent isn't totally underwater. Her application to trademark “Snooki” for use in “Entertainment in the nature of personal appearances by a television personality” seems to be still on track.

Camille Donatacci, the soon-to-be ex wife of Kelsey Grammer, may be seeing a multi-million dollar payday once her divorce is final from the former Frasier star.

Donatacci, who's starring in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, will receive more than $30 million dollars from the split, according to the NY Post. After news broke that Kelsey's new girlfriend Kayte Walsh was six months pregnant, her payout reportedly skyrocketed. Plus, she owns half of Grammer's production company, Grammnet Productions.

A source tells the NY Post, "Camille stands to get half of all syndication of Frasier made during the years they were married. That's seven years of episodes, as well as income from other shows the company made, including Medium and Girlfriends. "

Grammer is reportedly worth an estimated $85 million. Donatacci filed for divorce back in July citing "irreconcilable differences."

Ke$ha sported lace tights -- and not much else -- after opening for Rihanna at New York's Madison Square Garden last night.

Ke$ha recently said she would "love" to collaborate with her tour mate.

"I would love to. I mean, it's kind of been tossed around. There's not really much time that we've spent writing and stuff on this tour, because it's been so crazy, but it's definitely an idea I'm not opposed to," she told MTV News.

"I don't know what she would be learning from me, aside from how to look like a maniac, but I've definitely learned a lot from her. I've only been performing pop music for under a year, so I'm relatively new to the arena thing," Ke$ha admitted. "It's terrifying, so I really do, every night, watch her, and she's so graceful and so sweet and so bad*ss."

The world apparently knew that Kara DioGuardi will not be on the next season of American Idol ... before she, herself, found out. That's what her dad, Republican senate candidate Joe DioGuardi tells New York TV show, Capital Tonight.

After revealing that his daughter has been given the silent treatment from FOX since she was let go, Papa DioGuardi talks about Kara's anger about the way it all went down ... and explains how she found out about her AI dismissal.

"She read it the way you did and I did. Her disappointment is that that's the way she's being treated and she feels that's not proper. I think they're trying to create a lot of buzz ... they're trying to reformat the thing. But Kara has a very deep career in music ... she'll be fine. Would she want to do it another year? I think so ... I think at some point [she] will confront them on that."

As for who will be filling Kara, Ellen and Simon's judging positions ... looks like Steven Tyler and Shania Twain are pretty good possibilities. Sounds like it's going to come down to the almighty dollar. Cha-ching!

Even though she's not longer a big draw at the movie theater, Lindsay Lohan is still coming up with creative ways to make money, like this new series of videos for "Cameo Stars" which you can send as virtual messages to your Facebook friends.

Lilo shot the messages just days before she was sent to the slammer, which include a happy birthday wish, a message to the troops and a little poke.

Lindsay is currently in rehab the UCLA medical center, where it's being reported that she may get out earlier than her original 90 day sentence.

"We understand there's a possibility the program she's in might be modified - meaning it might be reduced or the program could switch from in-patient to outpatient," a spokesperson from the LA District Attorney's office said.

And when Lindsay does get out, she'll have yet another opportunity to whore herself out for a quick buck when she grants an exclusive post-jail interview to the highest bidder.

What's in a name?

Ellen and Portia Degeneres had a little fun with X17online photographers yesterday who couldn't remember the name of that little show that Ellen recently quit. You know, the one that might have the word "Stars" in its name or be on HBO?

"I was never on Dancing With The Stars," Ellen laughed as she told our clueless guys that the show she was on was called American Idol!

At least the guys did know the name "Degeneres", which Portia recently took on as her own.

But the ladies didn't seem to mind the mix-up and were appropriately giddy after hearing the news that several other same-sex couples would be able to marry as early as next week, just as Ellen and Portia did back in 2008, before Prop 8 put a stop to the ceremonies.

Miley Cyrus is apparently considering a little boost to her career in the form of breast implants.

The tween star, who's been trying to break out of her Hannah Montana image with a more adult look and sound, wants boobs as big as The Girls Next Door's Holly Madison, according to Star.

"Miley is intent on getting a boob job, and she's insisting her parents sign the consent forms, which is required since she is still 17," says a source.

Even though she's not HUGE, Miley certainly can fill out a corset top. Do you really think she wants to Heidi Montag herself?
