Looks like The Situation is becoming an author ... but the subject matter, not exactly a stretch for the ab-tastic Jersey Shore star.

Gotham Books has confirmed to X17online that Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is writing a book on "how to become your own guido."

Gotham tells X17online exclusively:

"We've listed The Situation's book in the humor category. It will cover everything from tanning, vitamin supplements, personal style and sex."

The book is tentatively titled Here's the Situation, but we're told that title could change.

The how-to book is expected to hit stores on November 2nd.

Or, I could be the positive person and look at all the amazing history that she’s made, and the things that she’s accomplished, and I’ll take it as a compliment.”

That's a good way of looking at it!

18-year-old singing phenom Charice Pempengco, who appeared on Oprah and Ellen has sung with Celine Dion, admitted that she was undergoing Botox and an anti-aging procedure to "look fresh on camera."

The Filipino star told ABS-CBN television that she wanted everyone to be talking about her upcoming role as a foreign exchange student who challenges Rachel (Lea Michelle.)

"All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure," Charice said in the interview.

Her rep, however, is denying that the Botox was for cosmetic reasons. Apparently the point of the procedure "was to relieve a problem similar to TMJ," the rep told Us, not to make her "naturally round face more narrow" as celebrity plastic surgeon Vicki Belo previously stated.

Hmmm, Botox for TMJ? That's a new one!

Last night lovebirds Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner left his West Hollywood condo at 2am, with Avril's guitar in hand.
