The memorial honoring the first anniversary of Michael Jackson's passing will be a star-studded event at Forest Lawn Cemetery. X17online has learned exclusively from the event's planner that the following friends of the family are on the guest list: Quincy Jones, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and Brooke Shields just to name a few. Guests will be receiving their invite via a secure email later today.
As for the family attending, X17online can confirm that Janet, Randy, LaToya and Jermaine with his kids will definitely be there. It's been reported that Katherine Jackson and Michael's three children will be remembering the King of Pop in Gary, Indiana. However, X17online exclusively has been told by the event coordinator:
"Randy doesn't feel that it's appropriate for Michael's kids to be in Indiana on this day. It wouldn't be the best decision for their coping process. Randy will try to keep Katherine and the kids here for Friday's event."
X17online has been told that the fans will be allowed to walk up to the steps of the mausoleum and place mementos in a designated grassy area right in front. However, they will not be allowed inside the actual mausoleum. X17online was the first to break the story that Randy Jackson fought for the fans to get access onto the Forest Lawn property for Friday's event.
Michael Jackson died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009.

Queen Latifah is joining Vince, Ari, E and the boys on the new season of Entourage, which we can't wait to see when it premieres at the end of this month.
We're not sure if she's pulling a Jessica Simpson and playing herself, or if after playing a celebrity manager in Valentine's Day, she's going to be going head-to-head with Ari, but we're very curious to see how she'll be worked into the storyline. Maybe they've cast her as an in-the-closet former rapper-turned-actress and she's just really stretching her acting chops!

Days before the first anniversary of her son Michael's death, Katherine Jackson is thanking fans for all their support, inviting them to a special tribute at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday, the day after the anniversary, and, of course, plugging her book, Never Can Say Goodbye.
In the above clip, Katherine said her late son would be "very honored and pleased" at the outpouring of love and support from fans worldwide on the eve of the anniversary of his untimely passing and "we love you all."
Saturday's red carpet tribute is sponsored by a new social networking site, Voiceplate, which, according to its website, is "the world’s first online communication platform that uses automobile license plates to identify and communicate between users."

And his name is Kenny Wormald!
After pretty boys Zac Efron and Chace Crawford both dropped out of the Footloose remake - not to mention directors Adam Shankman and Kenny Ortega - the troubled production is back on...
Paramount Pictures announced today that 25-year-old Kenny Wormald (best known from the MTV series Dancelife) will play the lead opposite Julianna Hough, and Craig Brewer will direct. The movie's set release date is April 1, 2011.
Crewer's last flick was the controversial, yet under-appreciated Black Snake Moan - is this guy really the best choice for director?
And we still think Wormald isn't as cute as Efron or Crawford!

Heidi Montag and her "estranged" hubby Spencer Pratt are continuing their trickery with several tweets that smell like BS to us. On their Twitter accounts, both are promoting the same "looking for love" websites ... ironically for "hotties" in Yorba Linda, a small city in Orange County. Heidi is pimping shop4guys.com and Spencer is praising meetlocals.com.
Funny thing is ... both websites are owned by the same company. These two are so obviously still trying to make money together, and this supposed split, who knows ... it's probably scripted. I guess anything for a buck.

A Los Angeles judge has dismissed a restraining order filed against the father of the Survivor producer accused of murdering his wife while on vacation in Mexico.
Bruce Beresford-Redman's father David was initially served earlier this month after the manager at Monica Beresford-Redman's West Los Angeles restaurant claimed she was frightened by David, whom she claimed threatened her with a gun.
Today, Bruce's sister spoke to the press after the hearing was over, saying, "The judge ruled that there was no basis for for a restraining order," and that it was initially "based on a accusations that had absolutely no ground in fact."
As for David, he says, "Obviously I’m very relieved that this has been dismissed. I did not realize the seriousness of a restraining order, it would have branded me as a criminal and I’ve never been a criminal before."
When asked about Bruce's kids, David said, "They're just fine. Theyr’e very happy to be with their father and their wife and I."
We asked if the kids are aware of what's going on, and David responded, "They’re 3 and five, they’re rather young."
His son, Bruce Beresford-Redman, is awaiting extradition to Mexico, where he's currently under arrest for the murder of his wife on April 5th.
