Everything may be roses for teen mega-star Justin Bieber at the moment, but it wasn't always so rosy at home.

When Justin was a baby, he was caught in a contentious custody battle between his teenage parents.

Justin's mom Pattie was just 17 when she gave birth to the tyke, and attempted to live with his father Jeremy, who was only 19. But "ultimately those efforts failed," reports Star.

A nasty custody battle ensued where Pattie told the court Jeremy was an unfit dad because of his previous scrapes with the law! Pattie got custody, but Jeremy attempted to get more visitation again in 1995, which Pattie deemed "inappropriate" due to Jeremy's "violent behavior" and "alcohol and drug abuse."

Who knew all that darkness was behind Bieber's sweet disposition?

Amanda Seyfried and "the love of her life", dog Finn, whom she takes everywhere with her, spent the afternoon at the gym before she met up with a male friend who gifted her with a Jimmy Choo bag! I guess it's nice to have friends who are in the giving mood!

Amanda will be making an appearance at the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday when she competes for Best Scared-As-Sh*t Performance for her role opposite Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body.

We'd probably be Scared-As-Sh*t too if we happened to get a glimpse of Megan's new plastic face!

Kim Kardashian got a pedicure yesterday at her favorite salon in Beverly Hills. The Lakers fan didn't get Lakers colors, but opted for something pale and summery instead -- kind of like the blonde wig she donned for a shoot the other day:

"This pic kind of reminded me of an old photo of Marilyn Monroe, with the glamorous mirror lights and the super blonde hair," Kim said of the look.

We personally prefer her as a brunette, but she doesn't make a bad Marilyn either!

Sheryl Crow is expanding her family. The singer announced on her website that she has adopted another bundle of joy ... little Levi!

On her site, Crow writes:

Hey Everybody!

I have some exciting news to share with you guys-Wyatt has a new little brother! Levi James was born April 30th.

Just wanted you all to be the first to hear the good news!

After attracting the ire of fans and R.A.I.N.N. (Rape and Incest National Network) Kristen Stewart has publicly apologized for the remarks recently she made in British Elle comparing being a photographed celebrity to being raped.

"I really made an enormous mistake – clearly and obviously," Stewart tells People. "And I'm really sorry about my choice of words."

Kristen initially told Elle that when she's photographed, "It's so... The photos are so... I feel like I'm looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can't handle it."

KStew admits, "I've made stupid remarks before, and I've always reasoned: 'Whatever. They can think what they want.'" But "'Violated' definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought," she said, taking the suggestion from the Executive Director of the Men Can Stop Rape Organization.
