It's a far cry from the damp forests of Forks, Oregon! Robert Pattinson is now in the dry, dusty valley Filmore, just outside of LA, filming the Depression-era circus drama Water For Elephants with Reese Witherspoon.

Rob plays Jacob Jankowski, a student who loses his parents in a car accident, drops out of school, and joins the circus as a veterinarian. Reese plays Marlena, a horse trainer who is married to the lead animal trainer. She gets close to Jacob and her husband becomes suspicious of the pair's relationship. Then ... well, you should just see the movie!

You think Reese and Rob will have chemistry? What if she went all cougar on the hot 24-year-old Pattinson?! Somehow we think it's just not Ms. Witherspoon's style ...

An X17online reporter spoke with Michael Lohan in Beverly Hills just now after daughter Lindsay claimed that he was responsible for her stolen passport, thereby causing her to miss today's court date.

"I don't know if she needs rehab or a psych ward," Michael tells us. "She's got to be out of her mind to say something like that. It's ridiculous. It's very hurtful."

Michael's attorney already told X17online that Lindsay's accusations against her father are simply a sign of her "lashing out."

What about the possibility of Lindsay going to jail? "It breaks my heart to even think that," says Michael.

He also says he is "certainly willing" to post her $100,000 bond, but believes that ex-wife Dina "has people ready to do that also."



Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan has reportedly booked a flight home for tomorrow...

The actress will fly from Nice, France to London, and from there return to Los Angeles on Friday afternoon at 2pm, according to Life & Style.

An insider explains: "Lindsay is definitely booked on the flight - it's just a case if she makes it."
