Yesterday Kate Hudson bought her son Ryder his first six string at a music shop in New York City, and it looks like he may be following in his dad Chris Robinson's footsteps!

Kate wore a conservative outfit and got a bit testy with photographers at one point during the afternoon, but thankfully we were able to snap a shot of her flashing that sunshine-y smile of hers!

Yesterday we spotted Nick Cannon filling up his Mercedes SUV at the pump, and we're not sure if it's because of his 90s inspired outfit or his gas bill, but Mr. Mariah Carey looked kinda peeved! What gives?

Her ads won't debut until January of 2011, but clearly she's already hard at work and we can't wait to see more of her pretty face in the months to come!
