This is so sad.

Senator John McCain has been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor, he and his family announced on Wednesday.

"On Friday, July 14, Sen. John McCain underwent a procedure to remove a blood clot from above his left eye at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. Subsequent tissue pathology revealed that a primary brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was associated with the blood clot," the statement read. The former Presidential canidate is exploring his treatment options and could undergo chemotherapy and radiation.

"He is in good spirits as he continues to recover at home with his family in Arizona. He is grateful to the doctors and staff at Mayo Clinic for their outstanding care, and is confident that any future treatment will be effective. Further consultations with Senator McCain’s Mayo Clinic care team will indicate when he will return to the United States Senate," the Senator's office said in their own statement.

McCain's daughter Meghan wrote a touching letter about her father's diagnosis shortly after news broke, and shared it on her social media. You can read the whole thing below.

“The news of my father’s illness has affected every one of us in the McCain family. My grandmother, mother, brothers, sister, and I have all endured the shock of the news, and now we live with the anxiety about what comes next. It is an experience familiar to us, given my father’s previous battle with cancer — and familiar to the countless American families whose loved ones are also stricken with the tragedy of disease and the inevitability of age. If we could ask anything of anyone now, it would be the prayers of those of you who understand this all too well. We would be so grateful for them. It won’t surprise you to learn that in all this, the one of us who is most confident and calm is my father. He is the toughest person I know. The cruelest enemy could not break him. The aggressions of political life could not bend him. So he is meeting this challenge as he has every other. Cancer may afflict him in many ways: but it will not make him surrender. Nothing ever has. My love for my father is boundless, and like any daughter I cannot and do not wish to be in a world without him. I have faith that those days remain far away. Yet even in this moment, my fears for him are overwhelmed by one thing above all: gratitude for our years together, and the years still to come. Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson spent yesterday afternoon house hunting in LA, and all signs point to an imminent engagement. Although the pair are reportedly not looking to buy a pad together, the NBA star is searching for a crib closer to the city where he and his lady love can stay when they're not kicking back at her place. Sounds the Cavaliers star is getting a little bored in Calabasas!

The athlete's budget is around $60K a month and he wants to rent through September, TMZ reports. That's not very long! Is he aware it's the end of July?

The hoopster sounds smitten with the E! starlet, so we have a feeling his desire to rent might turn into an urge to buy and put down roots.

"Tristan loves that Khloe is older than him, he loves how mature she is, and confident in herself. He also really appreciates how little drama there is with Khloe, and how much she has her sh*t together. Their relationship is really cool, they communicate really well and rarely fight. They also have a lot in common, and they love working out together—but they also enjoy just chilling too," a source dished to Hollywood Life.

Kylie Jenner's Madame Tussauds wax figure is finally done, and it's the most spot-on one we've ever seen! The reality star paid it a visit at the museum, and used it to prank call her family on FaceTime!

The 19-year-old plastic surgery princess donated the actual Balmain dress she wore to the Met gala as an outfit, and obviously it fit like a glove, because they sculpt the wax figures to the celebrity's exact proportions. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star sat for two hours to get her measurements done, and the mannequin is valued at $350,000.

Now that Kylie has a wax figure, you just know Blac Chyna is going to try to get one too!

He seems to have no problem making time for romance!

Ben Affleck has dropped out of filming the Netflix movie Triple Frontier to "take some time to focus on his wellness and his family,” Deadline reports. The actor was set to star in the flick, after both Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum had to decline the role due to scheduling.

"Ben’s family still remains of the utmost importance to him,” a source told the outlet. The Oscar winner has also been working on his sobriety since his stint in rehab in February.

He's spending all his free time with new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, and it seems to be getting more serious by the day. We wonder if the Batman hunk knows his new lady love has other famous lovers in her past? According to Page Six, the SNL producer also had dalliances with Jon Hamm and Chris Noth.

Sounds like he's got his priorities straight.

Lamar Odom is writing a tell-all book, nearly two years after his overdose in a Las Vegas brothel, In Touch reports.

"I have a book coming out, an autobiography about my life. [The book will cover] everything. Everything. It’s a free-for-all. [I’ll be] open about everything that’s been going on in my life, about the past," he told the mag at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports awards.

It sounds like it's going to be full of all his dark secrets, too.

"Lamar is going to include never-before-told secrets about cheating, sex, and drugs, the booze, the pills, the cocaine, all of it,” an insider revealed.

The former Laker could potentially earn up to $10 million for it... that is, if it ever comes out. We have a feeling the Kardashian lawyers are going to make sure this book never sees the light of day!

Caitlyn Jenner appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, and took the opportunity to put the TV host in the hot seat over jokes he made about her transition. The Olympian also discussed her struggle with gender identity and how it's given her purpose.

"When you deal with this issue, every story is a different story. Every journey is a different story. I am not a spokesperson for the trans community. I’m only really a spokesperson for my journey and then take my platform, which I have, and see if I can make a difference in the world," she explained.

The reality star said that as a person of faith, she often wonders why God put her through this.

"Why has gender and my identity been an issue in my life since I was this big? And I just go to the point where fortunately I had raised ten wonderful children. Kris [Jenner] and I, we had gone our separate ways — not because of gender issues, but because of other things. And there I was back in Malibu all by myself, and so I slowly went through, told all my children, because it had been just hammered all over the media for the longest time. In fact, guys like you, making some jokes…” she said.

Kimmel then took a moment to apologize.

"Right, but we didn’t know what was happening. We thought you were just vain. … We didn’t know what was going on. I’m sorry about that, by the way," he quipped.

The 66-year-old let him off the hook pretty easily. "No, it’s quite alright. Now he’s gonna apologize! I accept your apology. I don’t know if you saw when I was on Jimmy Fallon, I gave him a real hard time," she joked.

Aaron Carter cried as he explained his recent DUI arrest in a bizarre interview with ET on Tuesday, and the singer claimed he doesn't drink or do drugs, despite persistent addiction rumors.

“I do not drink alcohol at all. I’ll occasionally have a sip of beer or something like that, but I can’t even drink IPAs,” he explained, citing that he wasn't drunk before being taken into custody.

The 29-year-old did admit to having a medical marijuana license, and said he takes Xanax for his anxiety, propranolol for high blood pressure, and oxycodone for his mouth.

For those critics who say he needs rehab, he has a message.

"I don’t need help. What I need is for people to understand that I’m human and I make mistakes just like every other human in this world, but I would never risk my life or my girlfriend’s life. I do not drink. Hire a polygraph person, a professional. Strap me up," he insisted.

It sounds like his brother Nick Carter thinks otherwise.

“To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better,” the Backstreet Boys star tweeted.

“If my own blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn’t he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum? That’s not cool at all to use me for this PR and kick me out while I am down. I love my family despite it through thick and thin," Aaron responded via social media.

This whole sit-down makes us uncomfortable.

Seriously, what is going on?!

Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant during an interview with El Mundo, and while the news wouldn't normally be shocking, the fact that he welcomed twins via surrogate just last month makes things a bit suspicious. Why is he in such a rush to have all these babies? His eldest son Cristiano Jr., 7, was also born via surrogate.

Perhaps he thought he'd never find the right girl to start a family with, and then when he met Georgina, the twins were already on the way. Or, he may not even see a future with Georgina, but figured he could use her to have another kid?

Rumors have swirled for years that the soccer star is gay, but we think if he was, he would have stuck to the surrogate route and not knocked up a chick that actually wants a relationship.
