Reese Witherspoon took a fitness class at the Cirque School in Hollywood yesterday afternoon -- yes, Cirque is French for circus -- so what in the world would the blonde beauty be doing flying on a trapeze or taming lions?

Well Reese is preparing for a role in the upcoming film Water For Elephants, a story about a veterinary student who abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet. And yes, that veterinary student is the one and only Robert Pattinson!

He'll play opposite Reese in the historical film about a Depression-era traveling show. Pattinson's character, Jacob Jankowski, falls in love with Reese's character, Marlena -- a trapeze artist and the wife of a crazy animal trainer.

So that's where the Cirque School comes in ... Their classes are taught by working circus professionals; the school's founder is a Cirque du Soleil veteran who specializes in aerial arts.

I don't know if they can work it into the script, but we hope there's a scene in which Reese releases the trapeze and flies into Rob's arms!

As Victoria Beckham jetted off to Moscow for an event at TSUM, David Beckham came home to take care of his three sons.

The soccer stud hobbled through LAX on a pair of crutches on Monday evening, and despite the fact that he won't be able to compete in the World Cup, it looks like he's handling everything pretty well.

Hopefully the boys will take it easy on him this week!

Yesterday we spotted the pop princess out in Beverly Hills with Jason Trawick, and not only did she show off her tan gams, but we also caught a peek at a substantial bruise on her left forearm. Ouch!

We didn't even know these two were friends but just this afternoon we spotted Nicole Richie and her latest BFF leaving a sushi restaurant in Santa Monica.

Although these two appear to be total opposites when you look at them (Amber's about a foot taller, even in flats!), in reality they have a lot in common.

Both are moms, and they both recently launched fashion lines (Nicole's Winter Kate - it's the silk cami she's wearing - and Amber's Amber Valletta for Monrow.)

Although unfortunately for us, they left their adorable children at home, but they looked as if they were engaged in a very animated conversation -- could this have been a business lunch? Are the two pals discussing a future collaboration?

Now that would be hot!

Paris Hilton and her hunky beau Doug Reinhardt are home from Miami! The soon-to-be engaged couple spent a week at a private oceanfront mansion in Anguilla, spending their days sunning on the beach and their nights dining with Doug's family...

We may have overdosed on the romance and roses from Jake Pavelka last night during his waltz (to Seal's "Kiss From A Rose", natch!) but his fiancee Vienna just can't seem to get enough of it! The lovebirds were almost too much when they kissed for the cameras outside of the Roosevelt last night.

Ok, there was one sweet moment last night when Jake declared "proposing to Vienna was the honor of my life," but otherwise... Get a room!

We also spotted both Houghs and Kate Gosselin's DWTS partner Tony Dovolani at the Hollywood hotspot. Tony made sure to let us know that any rumor of Kate being "clumsy" is totally false! Uhhhh, Tony, didja see the show last night?

We ALSO spotted Oscar-nominee Anne Hathaway in the drive-thru of the burger joint! The actress grabbed a quick bite to eat before getting her shop on at Pop Killer on Sunset...

For some reason, I've always had it in my mind that Anne was a vegan or something! No one can resist In-N-Out.
