Summit Entertainment has reportedly reached out to directors Sofia Coppola, Gus Van Sant and Bill Condon to take the reins for the final two films in the Twilight franchise.

According to Entertainment WeeklyVan Sant’s reps have confirmed that he’s been approached, and even though Summit declined to comment, it seems like they want to get some serious recognition for the Breaking Dawn movies.

I love Twilight as much as anyone, but do you really think Summit will be able to push the final two films into the Academy's lap for an Oscar nomination?

Heidi Montag is now back on set for her first starring role in Adam Sandler's upcoming comedy, Just Go With It.

The facially-revamped starlet is letting her fans know what it's like to be in the same company as A-list actors like Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman...by tweeting the deets!

Heidi tweets:

I just had THE BEST day of my life filming my first comedy movie!!!!! It was beyond what I could have ever dreamed!!!!!

Not to miss an opportunity to plug her products, Spencer's girl also tweets: "And I am wearing my sailor shorts I designed in the movie!!!"

Just yesterday, hubby Spencer Pratt was stealing the spotlight from his sweetie. He released this statement:

“In the last few months I have discovered a new passion and new purpose to my life. With this in mind, I have decided to take a break from my obligations to MTV’s The Hills and discontinue filming any more episodes for this current season.”

However various reports had conflicting reasons for his absence. According to Us Weekly, Spencer threatened to kill a producer from The Hills and as a result, he will be absent from the show for six weeks to attend anger management. People Magazine said Pratt is eyeing a career in cyber bullying.

MTV counters both these claims saying:

"Spencer will still be a part of 'The Hills' season six, which will air this spring."

So what's with the dreams of joining the cyber police, Spence? The Pratts definitely keep life interesting!

Last night on 20/20's Inside the Bachelor: Stories Behind the Rose special, the show's exec producer gabbed that Bachelor Bob was the hunk who spent the most time between the sheets with eager contestants!

"Bob had just come off the Trista season of the Bachelorette so his popularity was enormous," producer Mike Fleiss explained. "Women were in love with him right from the start."

Whereas the average bachelor would bag about four babes per show, Fleiss joked that Guiney was with "5 1/2" women.

Guiney was originally a contender on the first Bachelorette, where his sense of humor made him popular with the audience (but not Trista Sutter who eventually chose now-hubby Ryan) and was brought back at The Bachelor for season four of the popular show. Mortgage broker Estella Gardinier won the final rose, but she and Guiney broke up soon after the show aired.

Bob's now single after splitting with his actress-wife of five years, Rebecca Budig. If the show ever were to have a do over, we bet Bob would jump at the chance to do over a new slate of contestants!

Alice Tan Ridley, Gabourey Sidibe's mom, isn't staying quiet about Howard Stern's remarks about her daughter's weight. Just last week, Stern had called the 26-year-old Precious actress the "most enormous fat black chick I've ever seen."

Ridley is blasting the shock jock for his comments telling Inside Edition:

"Get a life! He can see, you can see, I can see Gabby is a big girl. She's a big woman, so what's wrong with that?" "She's not like everyone else in the world. I don't see him giving jobs out to anybody, so why should we care what he says?"

As for whether her plus-sized daughter will get more acting roles, Ridley adds: "He might not hire her, but someone else will."

This May, Gabby will start filming Showtime's dark comedy series The Big C.

Looks like despite the controversy, Miss Sidibe is doing just fine. Remember the famous line from LL Cool J's hit song, "Mama said knock you out..."

Jessica Simpson chatted with Barbara Walters on SIRIUS XM Radio last night, and she talked about The Price Of Beauty along with what she's looking for in a man.

Jess told Barbara, "I want a confident man. A man who understands me and can deal with my life and is not embarrassed of my life. And can support my life. And allow me to be a powerful woman. And allow me to be powerful in the relationship. I'm not going to give up my role in this life to just be a housewife."

It sounds like Jess has fairly simple needs, so we don't see why finding Mr. Right should be a problem!

Nicole Richie was spotted leaving the kids' gym, Fit For Kids, in West Hollywood this afternoon where it looks as if Harlow has made a baby BFF!

“Becoming a mother hasn’t changed my style,” Richie recently told UK paper The Sunday Times. “I’ve always been one to dress for comfort."

And dressing for comfort is exactly what she did today in a flowy tee and jean shorts with flats.

The infamous "Burglar Bunch" ripped off a lot of Hollywood celebs last year - including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Megan Fox, Ashley Tisdale and Orlando Bloom - and now Access Hollywood reports that (according to a search warrant filed on March 11th in court) the group had even more potential targets in mind...

Including Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Hilary Duff, Channing Tatum, Spencer Pratt and even the late DJ AM. Damn!

Prugo may want to make amends, but is that even possible? Meanwhile, we'll be watching Pretty Wild to entertain ourselves!
