Last night Lindsay Lohan was supposed to fly to Austria to accompany Richard Lugnar to the Vienna Opera Ball this evening, but the starlet missed her 7pm flight! Lindsay even tried to grab a seat on another jet, but the plane was completely full so she gave up and went home, partying until the wee hours of the morning with her sister Ali.

Lindsay, her assistant and Ali started off at the Chateau Marmont around midnight, and then they went to the Tea Room around 1:45am, but she only stayed for about 15 minutes, chatting with the owner and sitting at their table. A source inside the club tells X17online exclusively:

"Lindsay looked super stressed and antsy when she arrived at her favorite Wednesday night haunt. She showed up in a rush, hung out for about 10 minutes and then left with the owner around 2am. Her facial expressions were even apparent in the pitch dark club - she didn't look drunk, but she definitely looked like she was freaking out about something."

After the Tea Room, Lindsay headed to a private house party, where sources tell us she stayed past 4am! And mind you, this was with her little sister Ali, who is just 16! Maybe she needed Ali to console her after missing her flight?

Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland, 14, called 911 around midnight last night from his New York apartment after an argument with her father where he allegedly threatened to take pills.

The AP reports that Baldwin was taken to a hospital for examination early this morning, but later released.

"This was a misunderstanding on one person's part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital; he's completely fine and will be at work today," the actor's spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, said in a statement.

Alec was publicly embarrassed when a voicemail in which he called his daughter with Kim Basinger "a rude little pig" was released. Baldwin and Basinger had been embroiled in a bitter custody suit over their only child for years.

Alec is set to co-host the Oscars with Steve Martin March 7th.

Fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead of an apparent suicide.

The Daily Mail reports that a source at McQueen’s office confirmed his death today, saying "It is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family."

The loss comes just days before London Fashion Week, and weeks before he was set to debut his new collection in Paris Fashion Week. McQueen was just 40 years old.

UPDATE:
We've learned that McQueen's mother Joyce passed away on February 2, which sank the designer into a deep depression over the past week. According to several online reports, McQueen was found hanged in his London flat.

McQueen's PR firm has confirmed that the presentation for McQ (which was scheduled for 3 to 5pm today) has been cancelled.

Last night, during a performance of his hit song "Gravity" in Nashville, John Mayer broke down on stage over his ill-received Playboy interview, once again apologizing for his "selfishness and greediness and arrogance."

After declaring that saying that his penis was a "white supremacist," dropping the n-word and comparing ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson to crack cocaine, John Mayer said that his intention was to be "speedy and witty and pull together as many fast words and phrases as I could, that I would be clever enough to buy myself another day without anybody pinning me down and saying, 'You're a creep.'" He continued, "I should have just given that up and played the guitar."

Truer words were never spoken.

John went on to say, "I think it's important that you know that everybody on this stage is here playing with me not because they condone what I say in any interview ... they're on this stage because they support myself as a possible future grown-up."

On the verge of tears, the singer went on, "And maybe they see something that I don't. So maybe I need to take a break from trying to be clever and spend a little time looking at what they see -- because they've done an unbelievable thing by standing on this stage and standing by my side playing tonight."

"It's just not worth being clever," John said, in a move remniscent of Kanye West's post-VMA apology, adding, "I quit the media game. I'm out. I'm done. I just want to play my guitar."

John elaborated on that sentiment on Twitter, saying "I just wanted to play the guitar for people. Everything else just sort of popped up and I improvised, and kept doubling down on it..."

John's public persona has been at odds with the sensitive pop-rock music he puts out, forcing us to wonder, who is the real John? The one who sings "fathers be good to your daughters" or the one who busts out the n-word in interviews and reveals intimate details of his relationships with the beautiful and famous?
