Tiger Woods may have had an injury that sidelined him for 8 months and a highly publicized sex scandal, but that certainly hasn't stopped him from raking in the dough this past year!

According to Forbes, Tiger has earned $110 million during the past 12 months and is the highest paid sportsman for the eighth year in a row.

Tiger's knee injury caused his prize money to drop from $25 million from $5 million, but he only lost $5 million from his overall earnings due to his Gatorade drink and the success of Nike's golf division. Nike is still Tiger's biggest benefactor, paying him around $30 million a year.

Hey, at least that's one thing to celebrate!

We were wondering what started the rift between former lovers Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, and sources tell X17online exclusively that it was Sam who threw the first punch - literally!

After bumming a ride from Sam's sister Annabelle on Monday night, it seemed like everything was peachy between the girls, but two nights later Lindsay had Samantha kicked off the turntables at the Tea Room, and a source reveals exclusively to X17online that Lindsay was out for revenge because Sam allegedly injured Lindsay's lip the night before!

After showing up to the Tea Room on Wednesday night with what appeared to be a cold sore bruised lip, Lindsay tweeted, about her friend's birthday and a mild run-in with Sam: "Best birth ever for Scott - no trainwrecks or hatred anymore ... No1 will leave with a cracked rib :) that's a good thing."



Of course, Sam and Annabelle vented about the evening's events on Twitter, but they weren't the only ones who attracted attention. One of Lilo's pals who was with the 23-year-old starlet on Tuesday night when the incident allegedly took place, privately responded to a fan's tweet about the fight confirming that Sam did in fact "beat up Lindsay."

To say that Sam "beat up" Lindsay is a pretty strong accusation and one that isn't necessarily backed up by a small scrape on Lindsay's lip. For all we know it is a cold sore. That said, these two are certainly being cold and sore toward each other!

Last night Lindsay went to Madeo with some pals, and after that the group (including her new BFF Marcus) headed over to Voyeur. About 30 minutes after Lindsay arrived, Samantha showed up, but the real drama happened when the two left the club.

An X17 photographer tells X17online exclusively that on her way out, Lindsay spoke to a traffic officer and asked if he could pull Sam over since she had been drinking inside the club! Not only that, but there are rumblings that Lindsay is looking to seek a restraining order against Samantha, though that might be a bit hard seeing as they live in the same building and frequent the same nighttime spots.

"Lindsay was clearly set on ruining Samantha's evening. Lindsay's not just out for revenge - she's at war! But it's weird - she seems happier recently. It's like fighting with Sam is like some sort of therapy for her.

Samantha didn't get pulled over, but Lindsay now seems hell bent on getting back at Sam for something!

Dadager slash producer Joe Simpson has sold a comedy to Nickelodeon loosely based on his experience as a psychologist raising two girls in Texas.

THR reports that the as-yet untitled project will be based around one of the daughters who follows in her father's footsteps and begins dispensing advice to the kids at school. Hmmm, which daughter would THAT be based on?

Simpson is teaming up with veteran producer Tommy Lynch and writer Emily Cutler (ABC's Carpoolers) for the series.

Sources say that shock jock Howard Stern may be the first in line to replace Simon Cowell when the Brit bad boy leaves American Idol at the end of this season.

This is either the best idea or the worst idea ever.

An Idol insider tells Page Six that Stern, Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January, is their first choice to fill the role.

"They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants," says the source. "Idol will do what it takes to sign him."

But the insider also notes that Stern may not be ready to leave radio -- not to mention New York -- to travel around the country for auditions and spend several months out of the year in Los Angeles. Plus, Idol bosses may not be able to compete with a Sirius XM offer, should it come in. (Simon makes $50 mil a year, while Howard takes in double that.)

"I was approached by a major TV network to take over a TV show and leave here and do that next year -- and I did turn it down," said Stern on a recent radio show. "I'm not even sure if I want to be working. I'm waiting to see what happens."

As if Charlie Sheen doesn't have enough to worry about right now with pending felony menacing charges in Aspen, the actor now has to deal with the fact that his car was stolen last night and found crashed 400 feet below Mulholland Drive this morning.

LA firefighters and helicopter crews have searched for victims but have found none and Officer Bruce Borihanh says there is no evidence to suggest someone was in the car when it went over the edge.

Sheen had reported the car stolen earlier; no suspects have been found and the LAPD is investigating.

UPDATE - It was actually Sheen's Mercedes-Benz involved, not an SUV.

We still haven't seen a believable picture of him anywhere since his November 27 car accident, but according to online reports, Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren flew to Hattiesburg, Mississippi earlier this week to take her adulterous husband home.

Radar reports that Elin and Tiger flew out of Mississippi on Friday and they now plan on working things out in an attempt to save their marriage.
