Pierce Brosnan's wife Keely Shaye Smith has been struggling with her weight for years. But now, it seems that the former television host is ready to get back in shape.
Yesterday Keely was spotted working out with a personal trainer in Malibu.
A photog tells X17online, "I think Pierce must be concerned for her weight. She's bordering on obese and must affect her health. He's hired a trainer for her and she's outside sweating every day."
Keely's dramatically heavier than she was back in 2000, after the birth of her first child. And it seems that she never lost the weight she gained with her second pregnancy, in 2001.
We do have to say, though, that these daily training sessions do seem to be having some impact. It already seems as if she's shed some weight since summer!

In what's definitely the most bizarre X17 video of the day (if not the week!) photogs stopped Sean Young in her tracks outside of Villa Blanca last night with just a photo of Jayde Nicole.
"She's sweet looking," Sean said, transfixed by the Playboy Playmate's 8x10 glossy. "I love brunettes," Sean continued, staring at the photo for what seemed like minutes. "Brunettes are so sweet!"
Earlier in the evening Jayde Nicole arrived with a group of friends, and we're not really sure what happened when Young saw the Playmate in the flesh!
But you've just got to check out the video and see Young's reaction for yourself!

George Burns/Harpo Inc.
Lady GaGa presented Oprah Winfrey with a brunette hair bow and glasses to match her own when she appeared on the Oprah show Friday.
The singer may have been distraught over cancelling her show the other night, but she was all smiles when she appeared on Oprah
The singer (born Stephanie Germanotta) sported a new 'do of blonde spikes, told Oprah that she's ready for another name change. "It feels weird when people call me Lady," she says. "It's so formal."
Sounds like we may have another Diddy on our hands!

Mariah Carey has finally spoken out about that hilariously tipsy acceptance speech she gave at the Palm Springs International Film Festival (which we've re-posted in its entirety above) where she won the "Breakthrough" award for her role as a mustachioed social worker in Precious.

Can Avatar Top Titanic?
James Cameron's Avatar is headed into a four-day holiday weekend with the anticipation that the blockbuster film may top it's director's previous box office record to become the top-grossing film of all time.
Avatar has spent four weeks atop the box office and this weekend's other openers will likely not be much competition -- Denzel Washington in The Book of Eli and Jackie Chan in The Spy Next Door will be the strongest contenders.
If Avatar wins this week, it will be the first film to top rankings five weeks in a row since M. Night Shyamalan's The Sixth Sense in 1999.
Cameron's up against his own Titanic record -- a $1.84 billion worldwide take for the film in 1998.
The Golden Globes Will Go On!
This Sunday's Golden Globes awards will go on as planned, despite the earthquake disaster in Haiti and the potential telethons that could have cropped up this weekend to compete with the Globes broadcast.
George Clooney's Hope for Haiti telethon will air on the 22nd, the following Friday.
Instead, it will be announced during the NBC telecast from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will make a $100,000 donation to Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti relief fund for victims of the earthquake.
MGM Up For Sale
Bids are expected to come in this weekend for the purchase of Hollywood studio MGM.
Moelis & Co. is the consulting firm hired by the studio to identify companies interested in acquiring all or part of MGM. The company has not called the process an auction but there are nearly 150 lenders holding $3.7 billion in debt for the studio, who are pushing for its sale.
Fox won't make an offer, due to strict non-disclosure rules that require potential buyers to sign off on confidentiality agreements require for access to a virtual data room. Warner Bros., Lionsgate, AT&T, and Summit Entertainment will bid.
Offers of around $1 billion and above are expected though insiders don't expect the price to go over $2 billion.
Holly Madison To Get Her Own E! Series

Although Angelina Jolie's stylist told reporters that she and Brad Pitt were planning on sitting out this year's Golden Globes ceremony, just minutes ago, X17online's photographers spotted the couples' bodyguard at the Beverly Hilton.
Since the only event taking place at the Beverly Hilton this weekend is the Golden Globes, we have to believe he's there to get a lay of the land for security purposes before his clients arrive at the big bash.
Additionally, we can report that the couple are in town this weekend. In fact, we just spotted Pitt at their house in Los Angeles this morning.
Even though neither Brad nor Angelina are nominated themselves, Brad's movie, Inglourious Basterds is up for a few awards, including Best Director and Best Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino as well as Best Picture (Drama) and Best Supporting Actor for Christoph Walz.
Considering how tight Brad and Quentin got over the course of the shoot, would Brad really snub his pal and director by not going?
I think we all could be in for a big surprise on the red carpet Sunday!

Jessica Simpson confessed that her stint as a runway model in Paris for her show The Price of Beauty made her so nervous that she "almost puked"!
"Going to Paris, I had to walk a runway with all these tall skinny models and I almost puked I was so nervous," she said today at the Television Critics Association in Pasadena.
"I mean, I can walk a red carpet but walking a runway, I will be the first to fall on my face," Jess continued. "And thank god I didn't. But I was so nervous to walk out there and be judged. To just put myself out there like that. Especially next to people that eat just salad!"
It's no secret that Jessica has struggled with her weight in the past. But she said shooting the show has helped her accept herself as she is.
"I haven't always had an inner confidence and I haven't always looked at my reflection and loved it. There's always something I've wanted to fix because there's always somebody that looks better," said the singer who's plumped her lips in the past. "And that's what we always try to compare ourselves to. I think the journey really was finding what is beautiful inside of me and knowing that I own it and it's unique. It was a very powerful journey," she said.
The show took Jessica around the world, from India, to Japan, Thailand, France, Brazil, Uganda, and Morocco.
