Tiger Woods' estranged wife Elin Nordegren has left her adulterous hubby behind and gone to the French ski resort Chamonix, where she is staying in a $10,000 a night chalet with her twin sister and five close pals.

According to The Sun, the group is being accompanied by a hired French security team and their chalet is advertised as "the most luxurious in the entire valley and boasts seven bedrooms, a hot tub and a full staff including a chef."

A family friend told The Sun, "Elin wanted to take her family and close friends away from the minefield Tiger has created by his behavior. She has been absolutely torn to pieces by what he has done to her. But she still sees a future with Tiger because of the beautiful children they have. She told him she needed a lengthy time apart to reflect on how they might possibly salvage the marriage."

Hotness! We spotted Orlando Bloom and his own personal Victoria's Secret angel Miranda Kerr soaking up the sun in St. Barth yesterday, and we can't think of a better way to ring in the new year. Not only that, but the uber hot couple brought along their tiny pup for the adventure!

Kate Hudson reportedly ended her 8 month relationship with Alex Rodriguez upon realizing that he was still obsessed with Madonna. A source tells OK! that Kate told A-Rod they couldn't have a future together if he continued to talk to his ex, and when he refused, Kate decided to dump him. “Kate was mad with jealousy,” says the insider. “She gave A-Rod three chances to stop contacting Madonna. When she found out that he was still calling and texting her, she hit the roof. How would you feel if your new boyfriend kept calling his ex?”

Though A-Rod insisted that the two were just friends, Kate wasn't buying it. “It broke her heart to break up with him, but she didn’t have any choice," the source added. "There was no way she was going to allow herself to become ‘the other woman.’ She said that if Madonna is what A-Rod wants then she can have him.”

But the sudden split comes as no surprise to friends of the couple - the source continued:

“Kate and A-Rod were having lots of arguments in the two weeks before they broke up. They were fighting about everything and just couldn’t get along. Kate was also worried that her parents didn’t like him. Her mom [Goldie Hawn] had told her that she worried about his lifestyle - always being on the road and with so many temptations - made him an unsuitable father figure for Kate’s son. Kate decided to end it before things with A-Rod got too messy.”

So who's next? Maybe she'll go back to Owen again?

Word on the street is that Lindsay Lohan has found a new DJ to make out with - and it's not a girl! Lindsay's been spotted getting cozy in St. Barth with DJ Jus Ske, and get this - he's very close pals with Mark and Samantha Ronson!

X17 photographers spotted the two out together yesterday, and while it doesn't appear as though she's looking for anything serious, she's definitely interested in something this guy has to offer. Our photog on the scene tells us, "It seemed like Lindsay was looking for a hookup. She'd hardly just arrived in St. Barth and here she was, flirting with the first guy she met under 50."

In response to Lindsay posting a picture of her glorious behind in a black lace Stella McCartney jumpsuit the other day, the DJ tweeted: "@lindsaylohan You are f*cking hot!! What's wrong with you?" Hmm, is Linday doing this because she has a DJ fetish, or because this is a surefire way to piss off Sam?

Lindsay has been staying on Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich's yacht, and it looks like her new fling has been hanging out there with her! Our X17 photog on the scene tells X17online exclusively:

"Lindsay didn't really get into the St. Barth scene. She wanted to stay on the boat where she felt safer. There were about 10 photographers around her when she went shopping in Gustavia, which is nothing compared to how it is in LA, but she just didn't like it. Hardly any of the people who live here or people down here for the holidays even knew who she was. Maybe that's why she didn't like it!"

Lindsay Lohan rang in 2010 in St. Barth, and we caught her on her way to a New Year's Eve party last night. Hot dress, but what about the rest of her look? Kind of a hot mess if you ask me!

So anyway, Linds partied with the likes of Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, Beyonce and Jay-Z, and Gwen Stefani, who performed at the party of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich in his $50 million-dollar Gouverneur Beach estate which he just purchased in September.

Gwen, along with Prince and Beyonce, reportedly performed for a $1 million-dollar fee!

250 guests were invited and Abramovich wanted to make sure it was high-profile after buying one of the most impressive estates in the entire Caribbean. He also owns other smaller homes on the island and keeps a yacht in the harbor.

Finally, Lindsay's hanging out with the right crowd!
