Katy Perry left her favorite British boy, Russell Brand, behind in England, arriving in LA on Christmas Eve to spend the holidays at home.

Frankly, we think maybe she should have stayed in jolly ol' England because she didn't seem to happy to see us!

Jaime Pressly, hubby Simran Singh, and her son Dezi enjoyed a leisurely stroll through The Grove the other day, flanked by attentive bodyguards. How pleasant!

During the hour the couple was there, there were probably three iPods lifted from the Apple store and a handful of leggings pilfered by teenage girls from The Gap.

Now this is totally mean, but Meg Ryan's getting old, people.

BUT, we'll say this ... she looks good! I mean come on! Is it our job to pick people apart and put them down? -- No! Let's be real. When I'm 48, I hope I'm that cute!

And Meg has good taste too -- she was out buying some ceramic dishes and pottery at Heath Ceramics in West Hollywood. Love that stuff!

Elle Macpherson looked stunning the other day as she strolled the streets of Aspen after a day of skiing, but a fur hat? Really?

If you remember, back in '05 Elle signed on to be the face of Blackglama's (the furier's) campaign. THEN after pressure from PETA, she attempted to back out of her $1.8 million-dollar contract.

PETA VP Dan Matthews penned a letter which stated:

"By making yourself the new face of fur for Blackglama you are also making yourself a top target for PETA and animal activists around the world. When you take money from such a violent industry you also must carry their baggage. And if you don't care about the animals, please consider this: fur adds 20 pounds and 20 years."

I guess some things never change ...

New information is coming out about the arrest of Charlie Sheen yesterday morning in Aspen for assault against his wife Brooke Mueller ...

Authorities apparently gave Sheen and Mueller blood alcohol tests and the wifey clocked in at .14, while Charlie blew a .04 -- half the legal limit for DUI in California.

Just what where these two doing, drinking at 8:30 in the morning? Brooke was bitch slapping her man, it seems!

Sheen told cops his wife was physically attacking him and Mueller reportedly admitted to police she was drunk at the time she made the 911 call.

Charlie's hired Colorado attorney Richard Cummins and is due in court February 8.

Charlie Sheen, 44, was arrested today in Aspen for assault against his wife Brooke Mueller - specifically, he was taken in for felony second degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief. He is being held without bond.

Sheen will be locked up until he sees a judge which might not be until Monday.

Police responded to a 911 call made at 8:34 am. When police arrived, the Two and a Half Men star was arrested. An ambulance arrived but did not transport anyone for treatment.

Reports say the couple had been living separately for three months - Mueller in a rented home in Colorado and Sheen in Los Angeles. The couple had reunited for the holidays, but apparently things turned bad and the couple was arguing in the early morning hours of Christmas morning.

UPDATE: Sheen has posted $8500 bail and has been released from the Pitkin County Jail in Aspen.

Though the previous two years have been rather tumultuous for the pop princess (I don't think we even need to get into it!), 2009 was all about getting back on track and looking fabulous while doing it. Even though she rocked some rather risque outfits onstage, it was a Circus, and everyone who went told us it was one of the best Britney shows they had ever seen.

Whether she was lip synching belting it out onstage or flaunting her toned bod in a bikini, this was Britney's time to shine and reclaim her career. And it also looks like she picked up a new love interest on the way too...so will we hear wedding bells in 2010?
