Jake Paul recently launched his latest endeavor, the Freedom Financial Movement and is hoping to change the standard way of thinking when it comes to college education. We caught up with Paul and the 23-year-old gave us some inside info on how he plans to do so. He says, "It's so important to me to be able to use my influence to inspire the youth or anybody to think about education differently and apply themselves differently... America is a business. In addition to being on the winding road to sobriety, Ben Affleck is also on a quest for redemption. The two-time Oscar winner recently shared the heartfelt note he shared for ex-wife Jennifer Garner following his relapse in October of 2019.
Affleck penned, "What I want to say publicly and privately is, 'Thank you. Thank you for being thoughtful, considerate, responsible, and a great mom and person".
In a candid interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, Affleck outlined his live long struggles with sobriety and coming to terms with being an alcoholic. Affleck also admits his heartbreaking divorce from Garner was something he never felt was a possibility, stating, "I never thought that I was gonna get divorced. I didn’t want to get divorced. I didn’t want to be a divorced person. I really didn't want to be a split family with my children." Earlier this week, Affleck told New York Times his divorce "the biggest regret of my life."
Ben's certainly come a long way since August of 2018 when wife Jennifer Garner staged an emergency intervention. Ben was seen acting very erratic in the backseat of Jen's car, begging her to stop for fast food before rushing the actor to a Malibu rehab facility.
Ben is now set to star in The Way Back, a film which his character's struggles with alcohol dependance mirror his own personal journey.
