Jennifer Lopez may not have won an Independent Spirit Award for Hustlers, but she sure looked good losing! The Super Bowl halftime diva glammed it up in Valentino for an afternoon on the beach at the annual indie awards event. Seems like this predicts a loss for J Lo at the Oscars after failing to pick up a SAG Award or a Golden Globe. But oh well! We still love her!
Adam Sandler took home the price for Best Male Lead for his role in Uncut Gems and fans outside the Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica went CRAZY for the funnyman-turned-dramatic actor. Next up was Renee Zellweger, winner of Best Female Lead for her role in Judy (about Judy Garland). Then presenter Amber Heard -- always a crowd favorite -- followed by Willem Dafoe, Laura Dern, Mindy Kaling and more!
Who knew Nicolas Cage fans were so passionate?! The crowd went completely WILD over Cage when he arrived and departed the Independent Spirit Awards, on Saturday in Santa Monica on the beach. Autographs, selfies, and lots of screaming were the order of the day for the actor who presented the Robert Altman award to the cast of Marriage Story.

Soon-to-be-divorced exes Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth crossed paths at the William Morris Endeavor Oscars pre-party in Beverly Hills, on Saturday. The former couple reportedly didn't event speak to each other inside -- the party was packed. In fact, the paperwork is still being done to finalized the couple's divorce so for now, they're technically still married!

Joaquin Phoenix, as he accepted the prize for Best Actor in The Joker, of course, got political in his speech ... the entire awards season has been leading up to this. The actor took on the environment, animal cruelty, and cancel culture, among other things. Watch it and let us know ... is this what you want from your Hollywood stars?
Even Brad Pitt got into the game, albeit, with a quick joke rather than a purely politically-focused speech. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Best Supporting Actor made a quick impeachment joke and we kinda liked it ...

Ummm ... what the HELL was he thinking?! The super-handsome male model son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber -- bro to Kaia -- just f-ed up his face, big time with a tattoo.
Twenty-year-old Presley took to Instagram to thank celeb tattoo artist Jon Boy for his new ink and to share a video of the painful process. The result? The word "misunderstood" on his right cheek. Dude. Bad idea.
He can probably still get work as a model, but definitely no Hugo Boss or J Crew ... and he'll forever be tied to the 21st century trend that will, no doubt, die out any day now. Of course the damage lasts only until Dr. Tattoff gets his hands on Presley -- which we hope will be sooner rather than later!

Poor girls! Justin Bieber looked totally worn out as he and wife Hailey Baldwin returned to their hotel in New York City the other day -- to the point that he kinda dissed his fans!.
The couple were greeted by a group of adoring fangirls hoping for selfies but it was clear Justin wanted nothing more than a little peace and quiet! He's in town to prepare for his highly-anticipated return to Saturday Night Live.

Sofia Richie seems to be falling out of the good graces of the Kardashian family! The 21-year-old model and girlfriend to Scott Disick has now unfollowed Scott's baby mama Kourtney on Instagram after first friending her months ago, never to receive a reciprocal follow from Kourt. But she re-followed today!
Also, she's quitting the family's reality show, saying she'll no longer make appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians because she wants to take her career in another direction ... she wants to be an actress!
Richie told Entertainment Tonight, "I want to get into acting! Great things are happening and I’m really excited about it. I feel like, for a while, I kind of held back on things because I was afraid of failure, but 2020 is [the year of] no fear! I’m gonna be doing acting stuff really soon. The roles I’m reading for right now are kind of similar to me, so they’re easy for me to play, and I really, really enjoy it."

When Hailey goes dark, Justin goes bright! The couple have touched down in New York ahead of the pop star's Saturday Night Live performance this weekend and they were geared up for the cold weather!
While Hailey kept it chic in an all-black look, Justin brightened up the dreary weather with a hot-pink and purple get-up! We love that JB accessorized with these old-school Oakley wrap-arounds!

Common drops some science ... as he usually does -- this time, on Jay Z and Beyonce's "decision" to sit during Demi Lovato's performance of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl last weekend. Jay Z came out and said it was kind of an oversight -- not an intentional protest in the vein of Colin Kaepernick's groundbreaking, controversial take-a-knee campaign. And Common's here to defend those who turned out to be disappointed that Bey and Jay weren't sitting as a form of silent protest and are not criticizing him ...
The man -- who has a real way with words -- told us, "First of all, Jay Z is a man of action... "The dude is for the people. There's so many people that want you to please them... His intention is exactly what I respect. His intention is to bring opportunities to people of color, to women, to people who are normally overlooked."
