Tiger Woods has released a statement on his
web site regarding Friday's incident:
"As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore.
This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.
This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.
The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.
This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be."

An X17 photographer on the scene at Tiger Woods' Windermere, Florida homes tells us two Florida Highway Patrol cars, each with one person inside arrived at Woods' Isleworth home today around 3:30 ET.
It is believed the officers are there for a third attempt at questioning Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren after Friday morning's 2:30 am incident in which Woods smashed his black Escalade SUV into a fire hydrant at the end of his driveway, and then a tree.
Nordegren could be questioned regarding accusations of
spousal abuse following reports the couple had a heated argument in the early morning hours on Friday. A
National Enquirer report published late last week claims Woods has been
cheating on his wife of five years.
Stay tuned for more news coming into us live from Florida ...
UPDATE - Police just left Woods' Isleworth community after about 35 minutes inside. No word yet on whether they were able to speak with Woods or his wife.

The former rapper turned actor turned producer took his babymama and all their kids to the Century City Mall on Saturday for a little post-Thanksgiving shopping. So nice to see Mark Wahlberg playing the family man!
Of course, I remember him most fondly from
Boogie Nights, but that's not really a family movie!

X17online has obtained a copy of the 911 call made just minutes after Tiger Woods' Friday morning accident. A neighbor apparently heard the noise of Wood's Escalade SUV hitting a fire hydrant at the end of the driveway and then crashing into a tree. There was no mention of Woods' wife Elin Nordegren during the call.

The Florida Highway Patrol say they will release today the 911 call made after Tiger Woods smashed into a tree in front of his home in the early hours of Friday morning.
FHP officers are expected to attempt interviewing Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren again today at their Windermere, Florida home where the accident occurred. The couple declined to speak with officers twice already.
Speculation continues about the cause of the accident -- original reports said Woods was not under the influence of alcohol but had a minor accident, hitting a fire hydrant at the end of his driveway and then a tree at around 2:30 am Friday morning. The first accounts of the incident had his wife Nordegren rescuing Woods from his SUV by breaking the window with a golf club and dragging him from the vehicle before police officers arrived and later transported Woods to a local hospital.
New reports claim the couple had been fighting just before the incident. The
National Enquirer reported late last week that Woods had been cheating on his wife which is now believed by many to have sparked an argument that led to the accident.
Stay tuned to X17online.com for the 911 call ...
