After being hospitalized last week for pneumonia, Nicole Richie is still recuperating at home with her family, but it sounds like the numerous messages she's received from fans have helped cheer her up!

In a post on her official blog titled, "Thank You," Nicole writes:

I’d like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks. I wish I could have been there for the Bebe-House of Harlow 1960 evening. I was truly looking forward to meeting everyone there and sharing that moment and capsule collection with you. I am also disappointed I wasn’t able to attend the Holt-Renfrew Calgary opening. I heard the store looks beautiful and Holt has been such an amazing partner over the past year. I will definitely be back in the Spring when Winter Kate launches.

Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving.

Despite LiLo's debut collection at fashion house Emanuel Ungaro being called both a "disaster" and "an embarrassment," chief exec Mounir Moufarrige says Lindsay is staying on!

What, you thought they'd actually fire her? She's the only reason they're getting any attention at all!

Moufarrige said the following in Milan recently: "She has a job to do. Mr. Ungaro has his views, he can keep them. I have no comment. I am sure we can do better in the collection to be honest but I think [the criticism] was harsh... but it did sell well."

I'm surprised any of those clothes sold. However, LiLo probably didn't have much to do with the line anyway.

On ABC's decision to cancel his Good Morning America performance:

"Obviously I respect their decision, they gotta do what they gotta do. It's too bad, I think there were a lot of fans who were excited to come see me. They probably had a lot of pressure coming at them from certain people who weren't happy about it. I respect their decision - I don't necessarily agree with it, but they need to do what they need to do."

On the double standard between men and women in showbiz:

"I do think there's a slight double standard. We've seen female pop performers doing extremely sexual routines for years and all of the sudden a guy does it and it's crazy."

On his racy AMA performance:

"It's choreography, we were dancing. The sexuality of it kind of got a little more extreme when I got up on stage. I think the adrenaline kind of took me over, and I admit it, and I'm proud of the fact that I did get a little carried away. I don't feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It's just the fact that I'm me and it's a little different for people. It's really not that big of a deal. I'm not a babysitter, I'm a performer."

You know what? We totally agree with everything he had to say, and it seems to us like all the haters out there (yes you, Elisabeth Hasselbeck!) are just jealous that he looks this gorge with eyeliner!
