Looks like Lindsay Lohan is finally getting the much-needed help she needs to put her troubled life back on track.

A friend tells Life & Style that Lilo has begun to see a therapist, "two, sometimes three times a week.”

The pal goes on to say that “This is not a program or substance-abuse counselor or police officer watching over her; it’s someone to talk to in a confidential state.”

Lilo already attends the court-ordered Right On Programs classes in Glendale as part of her DUI settlement.

"This is a huge stepping-stone for her,” Lindsay's friend adds. “Get in there, talk to someone, figure out what’s going on and then try to fix it." And one of the things that needs the most repairing is her relationship with her family.

Although it's unclear if she's including mending the broken relationship with her father as part of that work.

At least Lindz seems to be making family time a priority for her these days. "She’ll be home in New York with her mom, Dina, and her siblings for Thanksgiving.”

Lindsay's got a lot to be thankful for this year (the fact that she's still alive being one) but hopefully this new step in her life will be one that will bring her even more to be thankful for next year!

Whoa... that's a pretty harsh accusation.

But a source close to Brad Pitt's babymama tells Us Weekly that Angelina "hates" President Barack Obama. How come???

The Us source says: "She's into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise."

Nonetheless, "Angie isn't Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors."

Damn. Do you agree with the actress? Or is this story not true?

Last night Sean Penn, son Hopper Jack and a pal went to La Scala in Brentwood around 8PM, and when we caught the guys leaving a few hours later, things got very ugly!

As soon as Sean saw photographers in the restaurant parking lot, he rushed right up to them, spitting and hurling insults. Ahh, what a great example to set for his son! Oh wait, didn't Hopper get busted for drug possession a few weeks ago? He WAS cleared of all charges, but it sounds like we have a Redmond O'Neill 2.0 in the making!

An X17 photographer on the scene tells X17online exclusively:

"Sean looked like a wild beast with hate in his eyes, and he was visibly intoxicated as he screamed at photographers. He got close enough to me that I could smell alcohol on his breath, and I was stunned when I saw him get behind the wheel of his car. People and children nearby appeared frightened by his behavior, and they couldn't seem to believe that this animal was an Oscar winning actor!"

After his hissy fit, Sean and company hopped into a grey Mustang, and our photogs tell us Sean was driving erratically and "barely able to get out of the parking lot." Yikes!

Mariah Carey will be honored with the breakthrough performance award for her role as a homely social worker in Precious at the 21st annual Palm Springs International Film Festival this January, reports THR.

Mariah has won acclaim for the role which required her to transform from music diva to mustached-matron in the film, which also boasts amazing performances from Mo'Nique and the movie's star, Gabourey Sidibe.

Although her performance was impressive, we can't help but wonder if they're giving this to her because it's so far from her hideous display in Glitter, or if she really deserves it?

Looks like Brad Pitt is planning on doing some massive remodeling on his Malibu mansion, as we spotted story poles and orange netting all over the property yesterday!

The purpose of the poles is to mark off the areas which will be rebuilt, and they're supposed to depict what the home will look like after the construction is done. Seeing as the poles go up an extra two stories, it looks like Brad's going to have a pretty hefty bill from his architect when he's done! Or is Brad the creative mastermind between this extreme home makeover? Either way, it's going to be a lot of work!

After his highly provocative (yet mildly entertaining) performance at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, ABC's Good Morning America has cancelled Adam Lambert's performance, which was set to air tomorrow morning. A rep for the singer has confirmed that he will instead be on The Early Show on CBS.

"Given Adam Lambert's controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning," ABC said in a statement.

Seeing as the AMAs were an ABC broadcast, it's not surprising that this would happen, but was his raunchy rendition of "For Your Entertainment" really THAT big of a deal? It's not like someone's nipple piercing was exposed! (Sorry Janet, had to go there again).

We just can't get enough of Lady GaGa (well, 75% of us here at X17), and we definitely can't get enough of "Bad Romance"! The Lady performed her new single on The Jay Leno Show last night, and even Jay looked pretty impressed!

Afterwards she sat down with Jay and talked about everything from her childhood to Catholic school to tabloid gossip. We don't know what someone slipped into her tea, but she came across as surprisingly normal and likable! Is GaGa becoming less of a shock star and more of a pop star?
