Yesterday we caught Melanie Griffith and daughter Stella shopping at American Apparel, and it looks like the two are closer than ever after Mel's recent stint in rehab. And that's not all the shopping these two have done since mom came home!

A source who recently ran into the mom/daughter duo at Urban Outfitters in Hollywood tells X17online exclusively, "I saw Melanie, Stella and some of her girlfriends shopping at the Melrose store the other day, and Mel generously spent hundreds of dollars on the girls. She was such a sweetheart, and she's definitely back on track ... she clearly enjoyed spoiling her daughter and her friends!"

Aww, Mel! We want to go shopping with you too!

But throws on her sweats to go grocery shopping? How random!

The expecting mom has been busy running errands in Malibu lately and, while I'm sure Matty helps out, I wish I saw him with Camila more as she nears her due date... just saying!

As we all know, Sarah Palin sat down with Oprah Winfrey (it'll air Nov. 16th) to discuss, well, everything! But mainly because she has a book - Going Rogue - coming out... and what did Sarah say about Levi?

"He is a part of the family and you want to bring him in the fold and kind of under your wing. And he needs that, too, Oprah. I think he needs to know that he is loved and he has the most beautiful child and this can all work out for good. It really can. We don't have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama all the time. We're not really into the drama."

Sure thing, Sarah! I totes believe you. Meanwhile, I'm more excited to see Levi take it all off! Are you???

We didn't like Carrie Prejean before, but after watching her ridiculous interview on Larry King last night and hearing her proclaim that Sarah Palin is her hero, we began to wonder if she had a screw loose!

Miss California USA Executive Director Keith Lewis issued the following statement today:

"The public is finally getting a glimpse of the real Carrie Prejean who lives in her own delusional world. The childish behavior, her negative attitude, the sarcasm and condescending tone, the disrespect and continual lying she is demonstrating now is only a fraction of what we endured during her reign and after. Anyone who buys her book is supporting a woman who is actually the opposite of everything she claims to be. I sincerely hope she is able to get the psychological help I believe she has shown to clearly need."

Kim Kardashian and her 8-months pregnant sister Kourtney celebrated the 30th birthday of fellow celebutante Courtenay Semel at Il Sole last night.

It's kind of hard to believe this generation of Filthy Rich girls are turning 30 (especially when some of them still behave like they're 12), but maybe entering a new decade will bring a new maturity to Courtenay's life!

Or at least a bunch of kickass gifts!
