Before Reese called the police to defend a photographer in an unprovoked attack, she was jogging along San Vicente Blvd. with a friend.

When one photographer suddenly became enraged and ran up to another photographer's car, attacking him through the window, Reese called the cops. She was done jogging but stuck around in her car to wait for the police. When they arrived, she told the whole story to the cops, defending the innocent pap.

We knew she was a good jogger, but who knew she was such a good samaritan, too?

Who thought that was even possible!?

The Hollywood DJ was spotted out and about in Hollywood last night, driving back and forth between hotels... guess she's too busy to Tweet ex Lindsay back about Henry Cavill!

Does this mean they're not on speaking - er, Tweeting - terms? Or maybe Linds just thinks they are!

The cute country singer was on the Late Show with David Letterman and she looks super adorable as usual. The top, the boots, the hair... such a beauty! Unless you're Jessica Simpson, I can't imagine anyone not liking her.



Today she performed on GMA and really gave it her all on stage! Lucky mic.

I guess we know now where she got the inspiration for her hair!

LaToya was out enjoying her newfound fame (or infamy) on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills yesterday. And because she's fabulous, she had a driver and her dog pick her up on the side of the street when she was finished.

Photogs asked her what she thought about This Is It being tops at the box office over the weekend, but all LaToya did was smile and wave the paw of her dog.

This sounds like something straight out of one of her music videos, but sadly, a photographer was pronounced dead last night at the ACE Awards shortly after Lady Gaga's arrival.

An X17 lensman on the scene tells X17online exclusively that A.J. Sokalner was perched atop a ladder, and minutes after Lady GaGa showed up to the awards ceremony, Sokalner fell, hit his head and appeared motionless.

Our X17 photographer tells us:

"There were people attempting to revive him, and when the ambulance came, it stayed for 10 minutes before pulling away from the event. A.J. was turning blue, and I witnessed EMTs raise his legs and give him CPR."

NYPD confirmed to X17online that the man was not breathing when paramedics arrived, and an ambulance took him to Bellevue Hospital at 9:07pm EST where he was pronounced dead.

Interestingly enough, this isn't the first time Sokalner had an accident - our X17 photographer also tells us that he fainted while shooting Rob Pattinson earlier this summer. He tells X17online exclusively:

"He passed out on the Remember Me set a few months ago, but he seemed okay afterwards, so no one really thought twice about it. He was a nice, quiet guy, and he will definitely be missed."

While Lady GaGa couldn't be reached for a comment, it appears as though she had nothing to do with the accident, though her horrendous outfit is a whole other story!

Reese Witherspoon went to the police today to defend an innocent photographer after she witnessed a fight between two paps (not ours) in Brentwood while on a jog this morning with a friend.

Around 9 am, Reese was running on San Vicente Blvd., when one photographer attacked another right in front of her.

"One guy got enraged when he thought the other photographer had moved in on his story, so he jumped him," says an X17online photog on the scene. "Reese was pretty much done jogging so she got into her car, and pulled up to a police vehicle. She rolled down her window to talk to the cop, told the police she witnessed the attack, and that the pap who was jumped was innocent!"

There were no major injuries in the fight, thank goodness, but it's nice to know that Reese went out of her way to defend the innocent!
