Katie Holmes has joined the cast of indie film, The Romantics, about a group of friends who reunite at a wedding.

Variety reports that Holmes has replaced Liv Tyler as the maid of honor to Anna Paquin's bride in the film, which she'll also executive produce.

The film was supposed to start production over the summer, but is set to begin shooting in New York this week, not too far from Boston, where Tom's currently filming Knight & Day!

So will Suri remain a Boston babe or go to New York with mom to be a Manhattan munchkin?

Yesterday, Gwen Stefani wore a sheer black top that showed off an electric blue bra for a day at the park with her two sons, Kingston and Zuma.

The kids who got our vote for cutest costumes looked just as adorable unmasked as they did on Halloween, but their mom, who went as Jessie from Toy Story, somehow managed to look more conservative on the traditionally wild night than she did the day after!

Course, Stefani's no stranger to wacky outfits worn while watching her kids, but in the words of Valerie Cherish, "I don't wanna SEE that!" Especially not with her boys around!

Well, Mel Gibson is officially the latest Octodad!

The actor's publicist has confirmed to X17online that Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson welcomed the arrival of a baby girl named Lucia on Friday, October 30.

Congrats guys! We love the name Lucia (it's unique but it's not too over the top), and we can't wait to see pics of Mel's latest bundle of joy!

Lindsay Lohan goes through men like most of us go through underwear, and it looks like she's already found a new partner in smooching. Aww, no more Petey Wright?

Lindsay was in Morocco over the weekend at the opening of the Kerzner Mazagan Beach Resort, and eyewitnesses tell the Mirror that they spotted Lindsay and Gerard Butler getting cozy in the VIP area of the hotel's Sanctuary Club!

The sources say Lindsay dragged Gerard onto the dance floor while Michael Jackson's Billie Jean was playing, put her hat on his head, turned up his collar and started dirty dancing with the sexy Scot. They claim Lindsay ended up in a corner making out with Gerry, and the two left together in a golf cart shortly after!

Lindsay reportedly blabbed to fellow patrons, "He’s hot, he’s mine! I’ve got no ring on my finger so I’m gonna have lots of fun. This is the most romantic place in the world after all." This seems like it could just be a rumor, but Lindsay is thousands of miles away from Samantha, sources tell us they've split, so it's totally in the realm of possible!

Wonder what Lindsay would have to say (er tweet) about this one?

Poor guy! The singer's spokesman says that 62-year-old Elton John has been hospitalized in London with a "bad case of the flu and a minor case of E. coli."

He hopes to be released soon, but has already canceled concerts in England, Ireland and the United States.

John plans to rejoin the "Face2Face" tour later in the month, and all canceled dates will likely be rescheduled...

Kate Hudson appears in the upcoming issue of Elle Magazine, and the 30-year-old actress posed for some sexy shots and dished on everything from A-Rod to botox to losing 20 pounds for her latest film role.

So what was Kate's secret to dropping the weight? Giving up the booze! "I love my glass of wine. I love tequila," she said. "To be in New York for two weeks and not have one beverage, I’m not sure I’ve ever done that!" That seems much healthier than the cleanse or the cookie diet, and these photos definitely show off her fab figure. But maybe a little less grease on her skin next time? Eh, whatevs - she still looks amazing!

Anyway, when asked about the ring she's been spotted wearing recently, Kate responded, "Did you know that it was this one, on my right hand? I hear about this and I’m like 'Why would I even respond? What would I say if you’re going to lie about something ridiculous?'"

While Kate didn't seem too keen on blabbing about her love life, she did open up when the topic shifted to plastic surgery. "Everyone’s so obsessed with who gets Botox, but it's great! Are you kidding? The fact that women can avoid going under the knife and get a little Botox treat and not have to worry about it? I'm glad it’s there for me when it’s time."

We love how refreshingly honest Kate is about most things, and with Nine coming out this Christmas along with a string of other movies in the works, it looks like this Oscar nominee isn't falling off the A-list anytime soon.

For the first time since her violent fight with Chris Brown last February, Rihanna will break her silence in an interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America this Thursday, with an extended version of the appearance airing on 20/20 Friday.

This marks the first time Rihanna will speak on camera since the incident. Chris Brown has voiced his feelings of regret about the beatings several times (most recently on Twitter), while Rihanna's mainly been focusing on her work.

Her new album, Rated R, comes out later this month, but her first single, Russian Roulette, is already raising questions about it's relevance to her history with Brown.

“You can see my heart beating, you can see it through my chest/I’m terrified, but I’m not leaving/Know that I must pass this test,” Rihanna sings. “So just pull the trigger.”

Usually Halloween is the night you're out til all hours, but last night Kiefer Sutherland enjoyed a marathon five-hour dinner with pals at Madeo, stumbling out of the restaurant at 1am!

Kiefer and his friends closed down the restaurant, moving to the patio to enjoy a few glasses of wine when the staff began to clean up.

That's when Kiefer got silly, making faces at the camera and and fake-punching his male friend.

When they left Madeo at around 1am, Kiefer had to be helped into his chauffeured car, but looked as if he had had a very happy night, indeed!

Hey, at least Kiefer's got a driver!
