Madonna and her family traveled to Malawi this weekend where she's set to break ground on her for Raising Malawi Academy for Girls.

She writes, "Our vision for the school is to empower girls to become Malawi's future leaders. It’s an honor for me to be able to help as many of these girls as I can achieve their dreams."

And obviously, she's taken a special interest in empowering one specific Malawian girl, her daughter Mercy. Us reports that Madge is planning on meeting with Mercy's dad, James Kambewa, while in the African country.

"Madonna wants to meet Mr. Kambewa because she does not want to deny Mercy her background," a source tells the mag. "Madonna wants to assure Mr. Kambewa that Mercy will not be delinked from her roots."

However, that meeting is seen as controversial for at least one member of the family, who claims Kambewa is not Mercy's real father! "We do not recognize Kambewa as Mercy's father," Mercy's uncle says. "He just came out of the woodwork to claim paternity while he was not there when my sister was pregnant."

While we think it's admirable that Madonna wants to include Mercy's bio dad in her life, we certainly hope it's the right guy! We wouldn't want the poor girl to grow up thinking someone else is her father, look at what it did to The Real Housewives' NeNe Leakes!

Kim Kardashian got to chat with her idol, J.Lo, at the video debut party Jennifer's new "Fresh Out The Oven" video at LIV nightclub in Miami's Fontainebleau Hotel, where Kim tried to get Jenny on Twitter!

"It's no secret that Jennifer Lopez is my idol," Kim wrote. "Everyone knows that I absolutely live for her!"

Considering Kim and Jennifer are both known for their very healthy bums, we're kinda not surprised Kim idolizes Jenny from the block!

And since Kim's the queen of Twitter with over 2,500,000 followers, why not add J.Lo to the group?

Country cutie Taylor Swift and Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner (aka our two favorite Taylors!) were spotted arriving at the Beverly Wilshire hotel at 10:30pm last night, and photographers on the scene tell X17online that the duo spent the night together!

After attending the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Los Angeles Kings hockey game at the Staples Center last night, the hot new couple headed to Beverly Hills for a sleepover! The two appeared very shy when we snapped them walking through the lobby, but our photographers on the scene tell X17online exclusively, "These two weren't going to any great length to hide the fact that they were spending the night together! They could have been a lot sneakier if they wanted to, and we spotted them leaving early this morning."

Earlier this month we spotted Ms. Swift giving the 17-year-old actor a long, lingering hug after singing "15" at a show in Chicago, and that wasn't the first time eyebrows have been raised about their romance!

Rumors of the Swifner relationship have been circulating for quite some time now, as the lovebirds were first snapped together on the set of Valentine's Day, where they shared a super sexy onscreen smooch. Shortly after playing lovers on set, there were all sorts of reports that the two were sweethearts, though we still haven't received confirmation from either of the stars' reps.

We already knew Lady GaGa was going to appear on an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl, and here's a shot of her on set with Dan and Blair. So what's the story behind her appearance? Apparently Blair works some magic to get pop superstar GaGa to put on a private show, in hopes of reclaiming her role as queen bee.

Sounds like a pretty good plan to us, and we can't wait to see GaGa perform her new single “Bad Romance" on the episode, which airs on November 16.

Katy Perry celebrated her 25th birthday party with a wild, Wonka themed bash, where guests ate giant lollipops and painted each other with neon paint!

One partygoer tells X17online that Katy set up a "bubble room" for guests like Taylor Swift, Julianne Hough, JoJo and Matt Dallas, to take photos that looked as if they were floating on the bubbles. "Hot young boys" were hired to help paint the guests, although you could dip a hand in a bucket and grab a body and leave your mark as well!

Katy also had a tree decorated with tons of candy for guests to munch on throughout the night.

Boyfriend Russell, who doesn't drink, was very "cool and friendly," says our spy. "Russell's clearly smitten with Katy. But he's not the clingy type, he let the birthday girl work the room on her own, joining back up every now and then to give her a little kiss. They were so cute together!"

Although Katy may have given her guests an intense sugar rush and some ruined clothing, she did give them a very thoughtful parting gift -- A toothbrush and toothpaste to make sure all that candy doesn't cause any cavities!

And although the party continued later (where Lindsay Lohan joined the bash), Russell and Katy went home alone, where they no doubt continued the party on their own!

Rach stayed mum on how she feels about the teen bandits being caught (yep, the same ones who robbed Lindsay and Audrina) who are suspected of taking over $300,000 of vintage clothing, jewelry and bags from her home, and although some of those things were probably irreplaceable, we suspect she may have begun replenishing her closet before they were caught anyway.
