Well, T.I. has a good excuse -- he's serving a year-long sentence in an Arkansas prison on a federal weapons conviction, but still managed to win two awards at Saturday's Hip-Hop awards for best collaboration with Rhianna for "Live Your Life" and the album of the year award for "Paper Trail."

But Kanye, whose last appearance on an awards show did major damage to his diva reputation, decided, wisely, to sit this one out. West was nominated, but didn't win any awards, so perhaps he was too worried he'd have another uncontrollable urge to storm the stage!

Other award winners include Jay-Z ("MVP of the Year"), Drake ("Rookie of the Year"), and a posthumous award to DJ AM for "DJ of the Year."

The awards air on BET October 27th.

After a scary week in London which ended with him being hospitalized, David Hasselhoff returned to LA in good spirits, but looking thinner than ever.

Course, he did relieve himself of a lot of liquids (apparently while passed out in the hotel bed), so it was probably all just water weight!

Stephen Gately, of the 90's Irish boy band Boyzone, has died while on vacation in Spain with his partner.

A statement on the band's website says, "We are truly sorry to confirm that Stephen tragically died yesterday whilst on holiday, with his partner Andrew, in Majorca. We are unable to give any other details at this time."

The remaining members, Ronan, Keith, Mikey & Shane added, "We are completely devastated by the loss of our friend and brother, Stephen. We have shared such wonderful times together over the years and were all looking forward to sharing many more. Stephen was a beautiful person in both body and spirit. He lit up our lives and those of the many friends he had all over the world. Our love and sympathy go out to Andrew and Stephen's family. We love you and will miss you forever, 'Steo.'"

The band was an enormous success in the UK before breaking up in 2000. They reunited in 2008 to release a Greatest Hits album, Back Again... No Matter What.

As if things couldn't get any more twisted in the Gosselin dispute, Jon's filed paperwork accusing Kate of withdrawing thousands from their joint account, and ordering her to account for what she spent and pay it back immediately.

Hmmm, sound familiar?

Jon's latest petition claims that Kate filed her petition "to cover up the fact that she removed hundreds of thousands of dollars from the marital estate." He also says that Kate's the one in violation of their court-ordered agreement, withdrawing more than $60,000 from one joint account between June 15 and September 15, and about $9,800 from a second account in mid-July.

He also says she's lying to the court about how much money she has left to pay the bills.

Although these papers were filed days ago, ET reports that the only reason Jon & Co. decided to go public was because Kate did it first!

Jon was reluctant to air their dirty laundry, says his attorney Mark Heller (too late!), but felt that Kate gave him no choice.

"Accordingly, in order for Jon's side to be known and the picture to be complete, we feel we have no choice but to release Jon's Answer and Counterclaim," Heller said.

Jeez, if the last few weeks was Jon trying not to "embarrass Kate," as he claims, I cannot WAIT to see what happens now that he's not afraid to open the floodgates!

Ok, maybe it's kind of hard to look unhappy when you're surrounded by Great Pumpkins, but Leni, Henry and Johan didn't seem to miss their mom, who's still recovering from the birth of their younger sister Lou, while playing at the pumpkin patch yesterday!

Leni's a doll, but it will be interesting to see what a little girl from Seal will look like!
