Selena Gomez just addressed the controversy surrounding her new Netflix show 13 Reasons Why, and the star isn't going to apologize for covering the tough stuff. People are up in arms because they think the series glamorizes teen suicide, but the "Come & Get" songstress thinks the sensitive subject needs to be discussed.

"We stayed very true to the book and that's initially what Jay Asher created, was a beautifully tragic, complicated yet suspenseful story, and I think that's what we wanted to do," the singer told the AP about the TV adaptation of the young adult novel, which she executive produces.

"We wanted to do it justice and, yeah, [the backlash is] going to come no matter what. It's not an easy subject to talk about, but I'm very fortunate with how it's doing," she added.

It's all anyone can talk about and watch, so she must be doing something right!

This romance shows no signs of slowing down!

Kylie Jenner spent the weekend on the East Coast with new boyfriend Travis Scott, and the reality star made sure to invite sister Kendall and all her famous pals to the rapper's birthday party in NYC on Saturday. The LipKit mogul dressed down for the occasion in spandex pants, a Reebok windbreaker, and Vans, and her smile says it all. This is what revenge looks like!

Apparently, the new couple were all over each other inside the bash, and earlier in the weekend, it was the same when the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star accompanied the "All The Way Up" crooner to a performance at Bentley University then partied the night away with him at a Boston nightclub.

We wonder what her ex Tyga thinks of all this? He's probably scrambling to win her back, but this time around, it seems like she's finally moved on. He should have put a ring on it when he had a chance! Now he's lost his sugar mama and is going to have to figure out how to pay his own bills and stay out of trouble with the law all by himself. Poor T-Raww!

Kelly Ripa has found her man and it's ... Ryan Seacrest!

We've waited SO long to find out who'd replace Michael Strahan after he left for a hosting gig at Good Morning America almost a year ago. Over the weekend, Ripa posted a pic of herself drinking out of her Live coffee mug, caption, "We're going to need a bigger mug. #TuneInToLive #BigAnnouncement #LiveKellyCohost."

Monday morning, Seacrest, 42, was presented by Ripa, 46, on Live and the former American Idol host said, "So happy; so exciting!"

Seacrest's resume is beyond impressive -- 15 seasons of AI and the uber-successful On-Air With Ryan Seacrest.

Frankly, there was always a lack of chemistry between Kelly and Michael, so we think Kelly with Ryan will be a better match!

Okay, we exaggerate ... but he's hot enough to pull a 36-year-old fiancee! The Hoff and his bride Hayley Roberts enjoyed a relaxed and romantic Saturday brunch at Malibu hotspot Soho House and David used the opportunity to plug his mockumentary show Hoff the Record which is, apparently, available on Netflix and iTunes. And if you haven't seen it yet, it's kinda funny -- shot in the style of a documentary, a semi-improvised comedy follows a fictionalized version of Hasselhoff toward the end of his career. Comedy, satire and a dash of reality.

Fyre Festival organizers -- lead by rapper Ja Rule and businessman Billy McFarland -- are apologizing for the Caribbean island fiasco they created for rich-kid festival-goers this week. And social media is EXPLODING with hilarious posts about the Fyre Festival disaster.

What was billed as a "unique, multi-day luxury music and arts festival with celebrity chef-catered meals and impressive accommodations" for as much as $12,000/person, turned into a Lord of the Flies-style disaster, with makeshift tents on the beach, cheese sandwiches and a hot, jam-packed airport where travelers were locked inside, awaiting missing aircraft for hours on end.

Instagram influencers like Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid had posted paid promotions for the event on social media and were, in fact, set to attend the festival when organizers warned the "it girls" of trouble in paradise and advised they stay in Miami and skip flying to the Exumas island in the Bahamas where infrastructure and lack of staff support had already caused the Frye Festival to go way south.

Organizers posted a statement (after the jump) on the festival's website Saturday, apologizing and promising to make it up to ticket holders. The group says they're planning another festival -- on US shores -- and will offer free VIP passes to ticket holders of this year's event. But seriously, who'll wanna try again?

Kourtney Kardashian looked super shiny as she left the family's Calabasas studio, on Friday. The sexy mother-of-three was sporting a bodycon bodysuit, high-waisted jeans and heels for a KUWTK shoot.

While the Kardashians' reality show rating are waning and their social media followings shrinking, they still have a stronghold on American pop culture and former Fox reporter Megyn Kelly is going to piggyback that popularity for the debut of her new show on NBC. The show host, whose sexual harassment lawsuit against Fox News honcho Roger Ailes made headlines, is breaking out on her own with a new interview show and it seems the Kardashian family will be one of her first subjects. Of course, Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs on E! Entertainment, an NBC network. So NBU-Universal leveraging one of their hottest properties to launch Kelly's new show makes sense.

Kourtney was also at the studio yesterday, in a somewhat ill-fitting sweatsuit. It was reported this week that the family let go their long-time stylist Monica Rose after a falling out. In fact, Khloe hadn't been working with the celeb-stylist for months but has since stopped following Rose on social media so something scandalous happened. That said, why the heck do these ladies need a stylist if they're just gonna wear sweats every day?!

If we saw her from behind, we almost wouldn't know that she was a K sister! The Revenge Body star has been working out daily, but this doesn't seem like the result of just weight loss alone.

Sister Kim recently got major backlash, after unflattering bikini pics revealed cellulite and others flaws that she normally Photoshops out of her own posted snaps. Maybe the Good American designer thought it'd be best to get ahead of the problem and have her Brazilian butt lift injections dissolved?
