In the first time a sitting president has visited The Late Show, Barack Obama sat down with Dave Letterman Monday night to discuss his health care reform, the war in Afghanistan, and whether or not he feels the harsh criticism of him displayed in recent meetings and protests is racially motivated.
"First of all, I think it's important to realize that I was actually black before the election," Obama quipped.
"Really!" Dave responded. "How long have you been a black man?"
Obama is in New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly, but took the time to appear on the popular late night show in an effort to drum up more support for his health care plan.
Dave cited the top ten reasons Obama agreed to come on the show, some of which were, "We told him Megan Fox would be here," and "Said yes without thinking...like Bush did with Iraq."
This isn't the first time Obama appeared on late-night tv as the prez - he also visited Jay Leno back in March, where he caused some controversy with a remark about The Special Olympics, which he later apologized for.

But I'm sure she'll be a vision in white when she walks down the aisle with Lakers star Lamar Odom on Sunday!
Yesterday afternoon we spotted the youngest Kardashian sister shopping with her mom Kris, and while we're sure Khloe's already picked out a gown, we bet she's scrambling to pull together some last minute wedding preps!
So what was her hubby-to-be doing while she was out shopping in Beverly Hills? Leaving sweet voice mails for his lady? Or calling friends to inform them of the spur of the moment nuptials?

Recently unsealed court documents in the ongoing Anna Nicole Smith investigation reveal that pharmacists warned the model's internist and psychiatrist, with one claiming her internist was prescribing "pharmaceutical suicide" and refusing to fill prescriptions.
Additionally, the LA Times reports, the newly unsealed docs cite evidence that both doctors, psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich and internist Sandeep Kapoor, had sexual contact with their patient.
Eroshevich, Kapoor, and Smith's ex-husband and attorney Howard K. Stern, have all pleaded not-guilty to conspiring to illegally provide her with controlled substances.
If convicted, the case could have further implications in the case against Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's personal doctor who allegedly administered the fatal dosage of propofol.
Woah! Talk about a step away from Rob Pattinson and sexy vampires!
Cam Gigandet sat down with MTV and told them all about his latest flick, Burlesque, which, interestingly enough, marks Christina Aguilera's acting debut. The Twilight hunk says, "It's about a girl from the Midwest who moves out to Los Angeles to pursue her career as a singer. Obviously, it's Christina Aguilera, so she has an amazing voice. She finds a club run by Cher, a burlesque club. And she takes it to a whole new level and, of course, meets me - the love of her life." Ooh, we kinda love it already!
"I am a struggling piano player, and I'm currently working as a bartender at Cher's burlesque club," Cam continues. "Christina and I meet, fall in love, and drama ensues." Cam didn't spill too many more deets on the upcoming flick, but he added that he wouldn't be doing any duets with Xtina. Hey, fine by us...let her do the singing and let him be his sexy self! Cam added, "It's a very sexy, sexy movie."

Angelina Jolie was photographed visiting Somali refugees at the Dadaab refugee camp on the Kenya-Somalia border, and the actress spoke with the children and young women at the camp during her stay. Angelina was there to raise concerns over camp overcrowding and lack of clean water, and she witnessed firsthand the piles of garbage, lack of potable water and overflowing toilets at the location.
Jolie was invited inside a one room shelter where three families live, and after speaking with the refugees, she told reporters, "It is amazing that as more and more people come into the camp they (refugees) continue to be generous with what little they have."
At the end of her visit Jolie added, "The Somali families I met today are full of warmth and affection. I wish more people could meet them because then they would have a stronger desire to help."

Even shock rockers aren't immune to catching nasty illnesses! On his MySpace Celebrity blog, Marilyn Manson confirmed that he has the H1N1 virus! He writes:
So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU. I know everyone will suggest that f*cking a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have in no way contributed to me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive.

Hmm, hope he feels better! But maybe he should be nicer to his ex-girlfriends?

Mischa Barton attended the Metropolitan Opera's opening night gala in NYC, and while she's looking great, what about that eyesore of a dress? Maybe it would have been better if it was solid black, but I swear, if you stare at it long enough, it becomes slightly less annoying. I love the cut and the sleeves, but those stripes just seem like a little too much at this hour of the morning...

Tuesday nights on the CW just got even better!
The network has just confirmed that Heather Locklear will reprise her role as scheming vixen Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place.
Heather joined the show as a special guest star in 1993, and she stayed with the hit series until it ended in 1999. Executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer issued the following statement: "We're ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to Melrose Place. Heather's involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion."
Her first appearance is set for the November 17 episode, so who knows what will happen with her character and the new cast, which includes Ashlee Simpson and breakout star Katie Cassidy. We'll be watching, that's for sure!
