"Make Me" sounds very Michael inspired (circa Off The Wall), and after Janet's recent slump, we think she's got a hit on her hands with this one!

Just hours after Kanye West brazenly attempted to steal Taylor Swift's thunder at the VMAs, he posted an apology on his official blog (in caps, natch), but now it appears as though it's been removed from his site! Kanye wrote:

I'M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD'VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE'S IN THE BLEACHERS! …………………… I'M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!…………….. BEYONCE'S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I'M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I'M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! While we're glad to see that the egotistical rapper had the heart to apologize, it was far too little too late and he lost a lot of fans last night. The plus side? This whole stunt got Taylor a bit more attention than she's used to! The 19-year-old country crooner spoke with MTV about the incident and said, "Well, you know, I was up there and I was standing there and I saw Kanye up on the stage. I was really excited...and I kind of wasn't excited anymore." Aw, Taylor! We certainly think she deserved the award, and it looks like Beyonce did too.

When Beyonce won Video of the Year, she allowed Taylor to come up onstage and give her acceptance speech again a second time. "You know, they told me to be ready just in case she might want to say something," Taylor said. "It was just so wonderful and so incredibly classy of her and just gracious and wonderful to let me say something. She's just been my hero and one of my idols ever since I was little. She's a great person."

So what did other celebs have to say about the incident? Everyone from Spencer Pratt to Joel Madden commented on Kanye's epic blunder, and we couldn't agree more with Pink's tweet about the incident: "Kanye west is the biggest piece of sh*t on earth. Quote me." Will do!

Taylor Swift won for Best Female Video and even though Kanye disagreed, do YOU think justice was done? She sure owned it on the red carpet!!!

• Green Day went mainstream and invited screaming girls onstage ... what has this world come to?



• Lady Gaga staged a Victorian-themed, paparazzi-inflicted, death of a pop star and played piano with her leg up in the air, featured a wheelchair dancer, and bled for us all in the same number

What more could you want from the VMA's?!!!
