Yesterday afternoon Benji Madden saved the day for a pal stranded on a busy street in Los Angeles, and X17 photogs caught the entire incident!

The inked up Good Charlotte rocker happily filled up his friend's empty tank and kept his cool when photogs asked all sorts of questions. Hmm, maybe next time we run out of gas we'll give Benji a call! He's way hotter than the AAA guys!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon met up with director Brett Ratner at Mr. Chow last night, and even though the duo attempted to dodge photogs by sneaking out the back entrance of the eatery, we still got 'em! And Mariah certainly didn't seem to mind - the diva was nearly falling out of her itty bitty LBD as Nick pulled out of the parking lot.

While Mariah is insistent on wearing clothes that are about two sizes too small for her, she kinda pulls it off, right?

It's been over two months since he died, but Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest tonight at Forest Lawn in Los Angeles.

In a private, "friends and family" only service, Michael will be interred in the Great Mausoleum, which houses, among others, Walt Disney, John Wayne, and Nat King Cole.

CNN reports that Gladys Knight will be performing at the service, but other than that, it appears to be quite low-key compared to the memorial service held in July.

The mausoleum was closed yesterday in preparation for tonight's funeral, which bars the media from attending.

Yesterday Kate Gosselin was snapped picking up her children from school, and we're getting overwhelmed just from looking at these pictures. How on earth does the reality TV mom keep track of her kids, their belongings and their lunches?! I know she has some help, but still...Kate's like supermom!

In the rest of the emotional interview with Larry King that aired last night, Chris Brown admitted the enormous remorse he felt for his actions the night of February 8th.

When King asked Brown what he thought when he looked back at his behavior during that night last February, Brown responded, "It's just one of the nights I wish I could take back. And I really regret it and I feel totally ashamed of what I did."

Chris previously said the quote about him "not remembering" the incident from the King interview was taken out of context, and watching the rest of his interview, it seems that he not only remembers what he did, but is extremely regretful of his actions.

Let's hope he takes his rehabilitation as seriously as he seemed to take the interview!

MTV already showed you the first New Moon trailer at the Movie Awards earlier this summer, and now they're doing it again with a fresh new teaser at the 2009 VMAs.

Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will appear on the show to debut an expanded trailer for the second film in the film franchise, and on the day of the show, MTV.com will also debut the first single off the "New Moon" soundtrack, the Death Cab for Cutie song "Meet Me on the Equinox."

The awards show airs on September 13 at 9pm, and we'll definitely be watching...with stars like Lady GaGa and Britney spears nominated in some of the main categories, we can't wait to see what happens!

She may need to keep her other b*tch on more of a leash (oh Lindsay, we're just kidding!) but when it comes to her adorable English bulldog Cadillac, Sam knows how to do it! We spotted the DJ and her pooch going for a walk yesterday, and when it was time for Cadillac to take care of her lady business, Samantha did what all responsible dog owners are supposed to do and scooped up the poop and went on her way.

And she was a good sport about it too! Aww, we love it when you smile Sam!
