Travis Barker, AM's girlfriend Hayley Wood, Scott Caan and other friends and family were in attendance this afternoon at the burial of DJ AM, Adam Goldstein.

A heavily pregnant Nicole Richie was not in attendance, presumably because she is too close to giving birth and possibly on bed rest.

Goldstein was buried at a Jewish cemetery, Hillside Memorial, in LA.

The sudden and tragic death of DJ AM has certainly hit everyone hard, but no one moreso than his ex Nicole Richie.

Adam Goldstein's funeral is taking place today in West LA at Hillside Memorial Park where Richie is rumored to be present - a memorial service will also unfold tomorrow night at the Hollywood Palladium (arranged in the style of an open 12-step meeting).

One can only imagine how difficult this is for Nicole, losing someone so close to her just when she's about to give birth to her second child. Our thoughts are with her.

I'm on the edge of my seat, anxiously awaiting the premiere of Courteney Cox's new (hit) series Cougar Town - can you feel the excitement??? The preview looks amaze and Court's a rock star, so I'm not worried.
