A day after being sentenced to five years of probation for assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown sat down with Larry King to tape what ET says was an "emotional" interview.

ET reports that Brown was joined by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, who got so emotional she even started to cry at one point, as well as his attorney Mark Geragos.

Brown issued a public apology for the incident in July, which many thought was a case of too little too late. Is this recent appearance another attempt to improve his badly battered image? And will it work?

Meow! Anne Heche may have a beautiful new family and a solid gig on HBO's Hung, but should she really be blasting her ex-hubby like this on national television? Hmm, we think so!

Anne appeared on The Late Show last night, and when host David Letterman asked about her ex-husband Coley Laffoon, Anne said, "Can you say 'lazy ass' on TV? No, no, no. That's terrible." Something tells us she wasn't joking about that last bit though!

And it gets better! Letterman asked Heche what Laffoon does for a living and she replied, "He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!' " Ha! Though Anne isn't exactly taking the high road, we kinda love her for opening up like this! I mean, their divorce was a mud slinging contest of sorts (Laffoon called his former wife "mentally unbalanced," among other insults), so we kinda think he deserves it!

Heche and Laffoon ended their five year marriage in February of 2007, and last June the two reached a settlement in which the actress agreed to pay her lazy ex a lump sum of $275,000 along with $3,700 per month in child support for their 7-year-old son Homer.

It doesn't seem to matter where he goes, there's always some girl tracking down the reality TV dad!

Jon Gosselin took his little ones to a baseball game yesterday, and even though he was surrounded by his kids and a babysitter, it didn't deter this redhead from approaching him! Hmm, I guess ladies are into the dad thing!

But an X17 photog tells us: "Jon was nothing but a gentleman, focused only on his kids while obliging a few fans. He honestly seems like a guy who's just overwhelmed by all that's happened recently -- with all the media attention and going through a separation in front of the cameras. But he's totally a good guy. You can see he just wants his kids to be happy."

Eek!

Lindsay Lohan lost some jewelry, but is it possible that she lost a sex and/or drug tape too?!

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the contents of Lindsay's stolen safe included some "very incriminating videos and photos, plus legal documents," that the starlet believes could "cause embarrassment if made public."

These videos and pictures could just be painfully awful audition tapes or outtakes from her Fornarina ad, but we're thinking more along the lines (heh) of a half naked Lindsay engaging in some Kate Moss-y activities.

So, what do you think? Is there a Lindsay sex tape about to hit the internet, or is it something like those knife pictures? Those shots were silly, but they certainly didn't ruin her career. But perhaps a sex tape would be good for her career?

Anyway, after getting all snuggly with Samantha the night before, Lindsay was spotted leaving her Hollywood home yesterday morning, and we couldn't help but notice the three cases of Red Bull stacked up on Sam's doorway. A gift from Linds or thank you present for one of her DJ gigs?

Though many media outlets are criticizing Jon and Kate Gosselin for their string of recent (and highly publicized) interviews, it seems like the soon-to-be divorced couple have one thing they agree on: they're doing it for their children.

Jon seems overwhelmed with the media coverage following his split from Kate, yet he continues to film episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, and Kate has said that she wants to stay out of the limelight, but she appeared on Larry King last night, and she's going to be co-hosting The View for two days next month. So why are they doing all of this?

While many are suggesting that the reality TV parents are simply hungry for fame, consider this: they have 8 children, and for 1-2 years, all of them will be in college at the same time. When you factor in the bills that they have now, plus their current tuition (which costs around $100,000 a year), things start to get pretty expensive! So even though Jon and Kate seem like they're trying to stay relevant, when it really comes down to it, they're just looking out for their family...

LAPD just released surveillance video of the trio of burglars who broke into Lindsay Lohan's Hollywood home over the weekend, and they're asking the public for their help in identifying the culprits.

The suspects covered their faces with scarves and hoodies, and police report that the group entered Lindsay's home through an unlocked door shortly after 1am on Sunday. After gaining entry to the home, the bandits made off with Lindsay's safe, which contained jewelry that was of great sentimental value to the starlet.

Can you ID anyone here? Lindsay seems to know who did it!

Funny how much Courteney Cox reminds us of Demi Moore - who IS a cougar - these days, and now she's playing one herself in Cougar Town starting this September... I know Court is anything but a cougar in real life, but it must be fun to play one on TV!

She seriously doesn't look 45 at all.
