Debbie Rowe, who we caught kissing a mystery man at her house yesterday, will not be attending the memorial for Michael Jackson on Tuesday.

Rowe's attorney just released the following statement:

Although Debbie had originally planned to attend tomorrow's Staples Center memorial service, we have concluded with Debbie that she will not be attending. The onslaught of media attention has made it clear her attendance would be an unnecessary distraction to an event that should focus exclusively on Michael's legacy. Debbie will continue to celebrate Michael's memory privately.

Wonder if she's going to be spending the day with her mystery man instead?

A Los Angeles probate judge ruled today that Michael Jackson's 2002 will is valid, and he stripped Katherine Jackson from the title of temporary executor and named attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain the co-executors of Jackson's estate.

Lawyers for Katherine wanted Judge Mitchell Beckloff to delay the decision, arguing that the move was happening too quickly, and they also suggested that because McClain suffered from a disability, he was unfit to make decisions on Michael's $500 million estate. However, the lawyer for the named co-executors claimed to have a letter from Jackson himself stating he wanted Branca to be in control of his affairs. The letter was dated June 17, 2009, and the judge seemed to have no qualms about removing Katherine from her position of power.

Katherine Jackson will remain in control of Michael's children, and her custody hearing versus Debbie Rowe has been moved to July 13.

Michael Jackson’s business manager Dr. Tohme Tohme has revealed that the king of pop's family has been butting heads over funeral arrangements, but so far it looks like Katherine Jackson has been getting her way.

Michael's brothers and father Joe wanted a shrine for Michael at the Neverland Ranch, but his mother and sisters vetoed the plan. Jackson's brothers also wanted an open casket funeral and a procession tomorrow, but Katherine nixed the idea, saying she felt an open coffin would be "ghoulish" and harmful to Michael’s three children.

A family friend tells The Daily Mail:

"The family is fiercely divided. You’ve got the brothers on one hand, who all want to perform and turn the funeral into a showbiz extravaganza, and then you have Katherine on the other side who is a deeply religious woman and is determined that this won’t descend into a circus."

Katherine supposedly told Michael's longtime manager Frank DiLeo that she will be the one calling the shots on the public memorial service on Tuesday, which will be held at the Staples Center. The Mail reports that one of Michael's trademark sequined gloves and a black fedora will be placed on top of his closed casket.
