Lindsay emerged from Samantha's house around 7pm yesterday evening, carrying a bag full of clothes, a Louis Vuitton shoe box, a purse with coca cola and a pack of Parliament cigarettes. Ahh yes, the essentials.

Linds headed back to her house to pick up Ali, and the two then went to Bottega Marino on Larchmont, where Lindsay purchased her dinner a few olives. Maybe for a martini later? Anyway, our photogs tell us, "Lindsay also picked up some wine at the store, but her bodyguard was the one who carried it out - it looked like she didn't want us to see her with it!" After that stop, Linds and her little sis went to Panda Express to pick up some grub, and finally they returned to Lindsay's place.

But is he a hot mess? Apparently a few girls thought so, because the singer stepped out of MyHouse the other night covered in kisses!

John looked like he had a few cocktails, and as he stumbled to his car, he sang and showed off his phenomenal dance moves for the photogs camped outside. Across the pond, the English had Jade Goody, who died just less than two months ago of cervical cancer -- and she went through it all, until the end, on camera. Goody made it clear that she was doing it for her sons so that she would have money to leave to them when she passed on. The nation was on the edge of their collective seat, following Jade until she died on March 22. Her funeral was like nothing England had seen since the death of their beloved Princess Diana.

With America's own sweetheart, Farrah Fawcett, in what appears to be the final stages of rectal cancer that has spread, the US audience is lapping up media coverage of Farrah, including her own first-person account of what she's going through. Which raises some questions ...

Can the public delve deep enough into an ill celebrity's personal life or is it never enough? Was it fair for Farrah to criticize photographers for snapping pix of her in a wheelchair at the airport upon returning from Germany for treatment if she produced a national broadcast with similar images airing just weeks later?
