So we just got some interesting news about Chris Brown's current girl situation ...

Turns out this Erica Jackson - who some sites falsely reported as the girl in the above pic (who is really Natalie Mejia of Girlicious) - is an old "friend" (with benefits?) of Chris' from his hometown in Virginia. Chris flew her out to LA to give him moral support during his arraignment but she has since returned to the east coast.

NOW, it seems Mr. Brown is hooking up with one Natalie Mejia - the sexy siren from Girlicious. And by "hooking up with," I mean, hanging out at tattoo parlors with her and his assistant and two bodyguards :) Who knows what they're doing together beyond that ...

But a source tells X17 that Rihanna knew about Erica and the fact that she was in LA with Chris, though it's uncertain whether she's aware of Natalie (guess she may not have gotten her daily does of X17online yet today!).

In fact, Rihanna recently returned to LA with a pal who's charged with keeping an eye on the singer. A source tells X17online exclusively:

"It is TRUE she [Rihanna] is trying to move on with her life but it would totally crush her if she ran into him with another female."

Poor Rihanna's been through enough - we hope this news of Natalie doesn't upset her too much. You can do SO much better, Ri!
