We know she's a country girl at heart and now Miley's compassion for animals has earned her recognition from PETA.

The animal rights group has commended the Disney darling for "taking pity on chickens who were used on the set of her new film Hannah Montana; The Movie."

Apparently, Miley became so attached to one of the chickens on the set that she decided to take the bird home because she "thought the bird was adorable and needed saving." Miley's mom Trish also brought home a few of the birds.

"Miley's heart is as big as her smile," says Dan Shannon, PETA's assistant director of Youth Outreach and Campaigns. "We hope that her act of compassion will inspire her fans to be kind to animals too."

Miley and her dad, Billy Ray, were also recognized for helping reunite a lost dog with its owner last year.

Well done Miley!!!

Monday night was just another typical night in the life of Lindsay (these days, anyway.)

La Lohan left her house last night around 9pm with her mom and sister Ali, to attend an event at the SLS Hotel (don't YOU always attend parties with your mom and your underage sister?)

On the way, Lindsay could be heard telling her bodyguard/driver "I gotta lose them [the photographers]!", and lose them they did!

But the photogs caught up with Lindsay as she was leaving the hotel, where one photog asked her if she was drunk. Lindsay replied, "I don't drink, assh*le!"

From the SLS, the Lohans went back for dinner at Cecconi's, again speeding away from the hotel, taking small back streets to try to lose the paps, sometimes going around 100 mph (according to our photog!)

After that, Linds had her mom drop her off at Bardot (around 12:45), Dina and Ali went home (1am's a respectable bedtime for a fifteen-year-old, right?), and the bodyguard picked her back up again at 2.

Lindsay had another impromptu after-hours at her house, where, once again, she threw eggs at the paps. Her life is beginning to seem like she's stuck in Groundhog Day, right?

Upon leaving the fiest, one guest told our photogs that, "It sucks, she is fighting with her mom all the time." Well, if they're fighting that means at least Dina's trying to save her from herself, right?

The Jo Bros (plus the bonus Jonas and Joe's girlfriend Camille Belle) attended opening day at Dodger stadium where they showed support for their adopted hometown team (which beat the Giants 11-1, thank you very much!)
