That fateful night was ten years ago today -- when photos of Britney Spears shaving her head came streaming into our system and ... well, we couldn't believe our eyes.

On February 16, 2007, Britney went to Esther's Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, Calif. and took an electric razor to her head. Britney was in the middle of a bitter divorce and custody battle with Kevin Federline and was reportedly battling addition and mental illness.

After she sheered off all her locks, she headed to Body & Soul tattoo parlor in Sherman Oaks and got inked on her hip and wrist.

A few days later, as our photographers photographed Britney trying to see her boys at Kevin Federline's house in Tarzana, it all become too much for her and she grabbed an umbrella and smashed a photog's car window and even hit one guy across the back.


It took months of erratic behavior, pink wigs, English accents and various hangers-on trying to "help" Brit before her family finally had her committed on a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold in January 2008. Since then, Britney has been under the conservatorship of an attorney and her father.

It was a wild time, for sure and X17 was there to document it all -- even behind closed doors with Britney when the pop star invited our photographers into her home, asked them for rides, texted them and spoke to one of them in a tanning salon booth in this memorable clip ...

Foxy Knoxy almost dipped into the lady pool in the pokey!

Amanda Knox opened up about her friendship with a female inmate that almost turned sexual during her time in an Italian jail in a new essay for Vice, and it's an utterly fascinating glimpse into what life was like behind bars until she was acquitted of murdering her roommate Meredith Kercher in 2015.

The 29-year-old first met Leny (whose name was changed) three years into her four year stay at the Perugia women's facility, when the "small town drug dealer" first approached her in the prison yard.

"Deny told me about how, in Italy, she had experienced a lot of judgement and closed-mindedness. I sympathized. When I was 14, a rumor went around my Catholic high school that I was a lesbian, alienating me from everyone but a small group of my classmates. Later, I became an LGBTQ ally and helped found the Gay-Straight Alliance at my high school," she recounted.

"When I told her that, Leny grinned ear-to-ear. Afterwards, she scampered, puppy-like, alongside me as I paced the exercise yard – the next day, and the day after that, and eventually every day," she added.

Knox says that for a while, it seemed Leny just enjoyed the company.

"At least initially, Leny might not have been trying to seduce me, and was actually just in need of someone kind to distract her from her loneliness. This is common. Contrary to what you might guess, many prison relationships aren’t about sex — just like most relationships outside of prison," she wrote.

After a while, Leny worked up the courage to plant a smooch on the unexpecting exchange student.

"I gritted my teeth and half-smiled, wavering between embarrassment and anger. It was bad enough that the prison institution took ownership of my body ― that I was caged and strip-searched on a regular basis and had already been sexually harassed by male guards," she revealed.

Knox understands the curiosity about how women's sexuality can become fluid while incarcerated.

"We’re intrigued by the idea of prison relationships, in part because we’re morbidly curious about anything to do with transgressors and criminals, but also because their relationships are titillating and a little mysterious. We overlook non-sexual romantic relationships. The relationships inmates establish with each other are treated as nothing more than kinky lies to be ashamed of upon returning to the real world. But they’re not. ‘Gay for the stay’ is an insensitive oversimplification that signals a lack of understanding about what it’s really like to be imprisoned, and an underestimation of human nature," she concluded.

Tiffany Trump felt the backlash of her father's presidency at Phillip Plein show during NYFW on Monday, when fashion editors and guests refused to sit anywhere near her, but Whoopi Goldberg extended a friendly invitation to the President's daughter during her segment on The View on Wednesday.

"You know what, Tiffany, I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m coming to sit with you. Because nobody’s talking politics. You’re looking at fashion! She doesn’t want to talk about her dad! She’s looking at the fashion!” the daytime star said during a round table discussion.

The 61-year-old actress has been an outspoken opponent of the POTUS, but she doesn't think people's disapproval should trickle down into his kid's lives. She agrees with the boycott of Ivanka Trump's clothing line, but she said this situation is very different.

"And people say what is the difference between people boycotting Ivanka. There is a difference. That’s all about buying stuff. You’re buying stuff. This girl is looking at fashion, and she’s just looking at fashion. I just thought it was mean," she explained.

Tiffany couldn't be more flattered.

"Thank you @WhoopiGoldberg I'd love to sit with you too! 😊" she tweeted.

Mariah Carey showed a whole lotta boob in a lace bustier for date night with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, and we have to admit she looks fabulous. The couple hit up Katsuya in Hollywood for some sushi before catching a Laker game, and poor Mimi almost suffered a nip slip while sitting courtside!

The legendary diva was in a great mood all evening, and we think that's because she redeemed herself on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier in the day with her first performance since that NYE disaster. The songstress debuted her new song "I Don't" and we think she has another smash hit on her hands.

Things are really looking up for the icon, as she's put her broken engagement to James Packer and her career slip-up firmly behind her. Her new beau is certainly making life a lot sweeter, too!

“Mariah’s very happy with Bryan, and he treats her like a princess. Bryan thinks Mariah is everything, and acts accordingly," a source dished to Hollywood Life. "Nothing is too much for Bryan when it comes to Mariah. He caters to her every whim,” the source added.

Kim Kardashian sat front row with Anna Winter at Kanye's Yeezy season 5 fashion show in NYC yesterday, and the reality star liked what she saw come down the runway. "So proud of my baby for his amazing show today! It was so good! I'm so So proud of him!!! #yeezyseason5," she tweeted.

Other attendees included Kylie Jenner, Tyga, Hailey Baldwin, La La Anthony, Zoe Kravitz and rappers Pusha T and A$AP Ferg. We would have assumed Kendall Jenner would walk in her brother-in-law's show, but she was already booked for the Anna Sui show with Bella Hadid. The supermodels made their way over to join Kimye and the group when they were finished, though, and came bringing McDonalds!

"Look at these delivery girls, they’re so cute!” Kimmy K squealed on Snapchat as Kenny and Bels arrived with food bags a plenty.

We're not gonna lie, when Scott Disick falls off the wagon and gets his groove on with multiple mystery ladies in a tropical location, we always assume Justin Bieber is just a booty call away for Kourtney Kardashian. And are we wrong?!

The hot mama took Penelope and Mason to a music class after school, on Wednesday, dressed in destroyed denim and heels, paired with a Del Mar racing tee that she undoubtedly bought at the race trace with Caitlyn or back in the day with Bruce.

So where in the world is Lord Disick? It's anyone's guess right now -- he seems to have been lying low this week -- but we think he's either surrounded by a bevy of babes, still getting his party on or relaxing at home in LA, calling Kourtney ever few hours to apologize, begging to see the kids. Or does he even bother apologizing anymore???

We're not saying it's bomb, we're saying Kanye West's Yeezy Season 5 show at New York Fashion Week bombed -- as in, it sucked.

West's widely panned fashion line took another hit this season when his latest creations were presented in a 13-minute catwalk/video projection at Pier 59 in New York, with little fanfare, no press coverage and even sketchy commentary from his fans' social media accounts.

Kanye reportedly kicked out all credentialed press right before the show but apparently an AP reporter stayed in her seat and somehow broke out her cell phone without security noticing. Guests were told photography and videography inside the venue was prohibited, but a few crafty guests skirted the rule and posted snaps of Ye's denim, camo, thigh-high boots, and clunky new Yeezy sneakers (which we'd already shown you in our exclusive pix months ago).

All in all, we give the collection a thumbs down. An emphatic thumbs down. If his previous seasons were urban military, this one is more faux high fashion street style that feels like some sort of social experiment by its creator to see how idiotic consumers are and if they'll buy pieces that hold little if any fashion value just because Kanye West's name is on them.

The collection includes track pants with the Adidas three-stripe and the word "Calabasas" written down the side of the leg, silk bombers with "Agoura" written on the back, sweatshirts emblazoned with "Lost Hills" -- all references to his LA-area San Fernando 'hood.

There's denim this time around -- straight-legged pants for women, a little camouflage mixed in, and some thigh-high boots and lace-up ankle booties. There's not a lot of consistency here, no fashionista must-haves, no trophy pieces -- unless you consider the full-length fur coat that makes us want to gag. The hijabi model who wore that piece looked like a grizzly bear on the stage -- with the fuzzy coat literally swallowing her up. We can't understand why PETA wasn't there to douse her in blue paint.

And after 13 minutes, Kanye didn't even bother to come out onto the stage for his bow. Maybe he didn't want to take credit for this mess ...

Blac Chyna is the queen of deflection, so it's no surprise the former stripper posted these racy Instagram photos showing off her goods as her relationship with Rob Kardashian crumbles. The mother-of-two proudly flaunts her massive boobs and butt in a see-thru red lace dress, but we doubt her sock designer fiance is seeing any of this in real life.

The pair spent Valentine's Day apart, and Kimmy K's little bro took their daughter Dream to spend time with grandma Kris Jenner. We're surprised Chy isn't using that poor baby as leverage yet.

The video vixen was allegedly spotted getting a little too cozy with a man named Jamel Davenport at a Super Bowl party in LA recently, and rumors that she's been cheating on her Rob have been swirling ever since. So much so, his family has reportedly hired a P.I. to catch her in the act!

"Rob’s sisters have hired a private investigator to follow Chyna and catch her cheating," a source dished to Radar.

Unfortunately, it's a lose-lose situation, because they know if they find something their bro will be crushed.

"It is a double-edged sword. Rob’s sisters know that, if they catch Chyna cheating, it will break Rob’s heart! The last thing that anyone wants is for Rob to slip back into the dark depression he was in before meeting her," the source added.
