A judge is set to issue a long-term restraining order that would prohibit Brit's ex, Adnan Ghalib from being anywhere near the pop star.

Brit's dad Jamie is the one who asked the judge for the protection order, according to the Associated Press.

Ghalib was apparently a no-show at a hearing on Wednesday and hasn't filed an objections to the restraining order, which could make it illegal for Adnan to contact Britney for as long as three years.

Jamie Spears believes Adnan, along with Britney's former manager Sam Lutfi, have tried to undermine his role as conservator of Brit's personal and business affairs.

Yesterday we snapped Chris Brown leaving his Beverly Hills hotel, and the R&B singer looked totally down in the dumps. Why so sad? Well, we know he's staying in two suites all by himself, and Rihanna is 3,000 miles away from him, so it only makes sense that he'd be rolling around town looking depressed.

Speaking of rolling, we think it's kind of odd that Chris has the window rolled down - isn't this the guy who tried to hide when we photographed him at Rihanna's pad two weeks ago? Maybe he wants the world (or his girlfriend) to know how bummed he is to be flying solo on the west coast?

Rihanna's uncle Robert Fenty tells X17online exclusively that the songstress is spending most of her time focusing on work right now instead of Chris. Robert tells us it's NOT over between the two, but Rihanna is looking to spend some time away from Chris, and she's trying to find a way to get through this.

After conflicting reports about Natasha Richardson's condition yesterday, a source close to the family has confirmed to People that the 45-year-old actress is brain dead, and there is "no chance" for a complete recovery.

Yesterday evening, Richardson's family (including her sons, Michael and Daniel, her mother Vanessa Redgrave, her aunt Lynn Redgrave and her sister Joely Richardson) visited her at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC, and after rushing from his Toronto film set on Monday, husband Liam Neeson hasn't left her side. Richardson suffered a serious head injury after falling on the slopes at the Station Mont Tremblant ski resort in Montreal, and after being transfered to two Canadian hospitals, Richardson arrived in New York yesterday.

TMZ reports that during her ambulance ride to Lennox Hill Hospital, the actress was "unconscious," her pupils were "non-reactive," and her skin was "pale." Neeson "held her hand the entire time and caressed her face as he sat in silence."

Our hearts go out to the family...we can't even begin to imagine how difficult this is for them.

Audrina Patridge won't be around for the sixth season (if there even is one) of The Hills.

Like LC, Audrina - who was looking lovely as usual in purple at Bar Marmont last night - is leaving the MTV show at the end of this season. But that doesn't mean she's quitting reality TV.

Audrina has signed a deal with Mark Burnett Productions for a new series that will follow Patridge's personal and professional life, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

What professional life? Her fake job at Sony???

And what the heck's the Survivor producer Burnett doing taking on MTV reality programming? Did Audrina have a falling-out with the network? Obv Audrina just doesn't have quite the same cache that Lauren and Whitney have - guess MTV deemed her not worthy of her own show?

So is this the end of The Hills?

Oh Lindsay. If you don't want the paps to take your picture, why do you insist on partying at the hottest spots in Hollywood night after night? I mean you look so cute and cuddly in these shots - it's kinda hard to believe you dropped a whole bunch of f-bombs on the paps yesterday evening!

On Friday she partied at the Chateau Marmont until 4:30am, then there was all that drama over the weekend, on Monday Linds partied at the Mondrian Hotel until 3:30am, and last night she celebrated St. Patrick's Day at The Darkroom on Melrose. Whew - we can hardly keep up!

On the way to the bar, Lindsay (wearing her fav new hat) got super pissy with photogs, begging them to stop taking her picture and telling them, "My f*cking livelihood depends on this, please just take a f*cking night off..."
