Restraining Order For Adnan - Old Or New?

Just what is going on here?

LAPD officer Mike Lopez is telling OK Mag that Britney Spears "has never filed a police report against Adnan Ghalib nor has she requested a restraining order against him." But when WE called the LAPD yesterday, they told us there's no way for the LAPD to know! Restraining orders are issued by the court and we were told by the LAPD that they have no record of ANY restraining orders.

But there's still the question of what exactly Sam showed our photographers on Saturday night ...

Lutfi, if you'll recall, showed us a piece of paper described as a restraining order against Britney's paparazzo paramour, Adnan. Sam told us recently that Britney had filed a restraining order against the pap in NOVEMBER! Could this be the same paper?

A few months back, Brit was getting fed up with the overzealous actions of a few paps and she, according to Sam, filed restraining orders against some of them. That was when her custody battle with KFed was heating up and she needed to relieve the pressure of the flashing bulbs when she was with the kids and the court appointed monitor. Adnan was one of the more aggressive shooters who was jumping on the hood of Britney's car and impeding her from driving and according to Sam, that's why they took action against him.

So is this restraining order old or new? Does it matter? Man, the irony of Britney dating Adnan is even more profound given this legal act!
