Who needs a man?! They don't!

Gigi Hadid, Lorde, and Zendaya were just a few of the gorgeous gals that didn't bring dates to last night's Met Gala, and if we were their boyfriends we would be slightly concerned about them leaving the house looking this hot!

The Sports Illustrated stunner left boyfriend Cody Simpson at home and stunned in this custom crimson Diane von Furstenberg gown, while Lorde sported a backless Calvin Klein number. Zendaya, meanwhile, hit a home run with a Fausto Puglisi dress and managed to make it onto numerous "Best Dressed" lists.

Meanwhile, Cara Delevingne looked rad with edgy temporary tattoos peeking out of her Stella McCartney pantsuit! For the tragedies of the night, poor Selena Gomez looked like she thought she was attending a quinceanera in an ill-fitting Vera Wang gown, and Miley looked downright disgusting with newly dyed blue hair and an Alexander Wang dress that didn't fit her frame.

We guess your man has to be super famous and fashionable to score an invite!

Solange Knowles didn't go crazy on Jay Z this year, but she did go all out with her Met Gala ensemble!

Beyonce's little sis wore printed circle dress, and she posted a few photos on Instagram and wrote, "When @cartier is your date, and Giles is your dress," but her hubby Alan Ferguson was actually her plus one. Lady Gaga followed suit with a similarly poufy custom Balenciaga by Alexander Wang frock, and she walked the carpet with the designer himself. Gaga also hosted the Met Ball after party later in the evening ... fun!

Sarah Jessica Parker caught everyone's attention with a massive headdress, and Katy Perry turned heads for a different reason ... her outfit completely sucked! And we're still not digging the Kris Jenner-inspired do:


And later in the evening Katy and Gaga posed for a selfie with the Queen of Pop herself ... who knew this trio could set aside their differences (and egos?!) and make nice? Madge posted the pic first and wrote, "Girls night out.......... Kissing the Ring........Finally! #metball," and Katy uploaded the same shot later and wrote, "Dropping our single tomorrow ... #stolethispicfromM #MONSTERCATREBELHEARTS."

Aside from a picture perfect Miranda Kerr, most of our favorite fashion mavens were veering dangerously close to hot mess territory at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday night!

Madonna, who is known for rocking crazy ensembles to the Met's annual bash, wore a boring Moschino dress with the name of her new album emblazoned all over it. We thought the logo trend was bad enough, but the 56-year-old pop star took things to a whole new level of awful with her shameless self-promotion. Donatella Versace looked like she needed a censor over her boob (or maybe just her face?), but at least she stuck to the Costume Institute's Chinese fashion theme for the "China: Through the Looking Glass" exhibit. She was one of the few who did, actually!

Miranda wore a custom Louis Vuitton dress and clutch, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and while Kate Hudson looked stunning in a gold Michael Kors number, she couldn't seem to be bothered to remove the wad of chewing gum from her mouth before hitting the red carpet. Sigh...

Look at these lovebirds!

On Monday night Robert Pattinson and fiance FKA Twigs made their red carpet debut at the 2015 Met Gala, and the notoriously private couple looked quite giddy as they posed for photos. Look away Kristen Stewart! We know Rob's ex wasn't at the Met Gala because she attended a fashion show in South Korea last night, but we find that to be a little bit too much of a coincidence ... don't you?

Rob and his lady jetted out of LAX over the weekend and arrived in NYC on Sunday, and despite rumors that the two have hit a rough patch, things seemed fine last night. Apparently Rob was pissed about one of FKA's friends Instagramming a photo of the singer naked in a bathtub, and there's been some tension between the two after Rob reportedly made the moves to work out an iron-clad prenup before tying the knot with FKA. They've only been dating for 6 months, so hopefully they figure it out!

And R Pattz and his lady love weren't the only hot couples on the red carpet! George and Amal Clooney also wowed on the red carpet, and Sofia Vergara and beau Joe Manganiello also looked rather twitterpated:

Kendall Jenner may have posted what appears to be a steamy shot of herself in bed with Justin Bieber the other day, but on the red carpet at Met Gala on Monday night the two kept their distance. What, no selfies together?! Maybe Biebs was a little weirded out by the fact that a number of his former flings (Selena Gomez and Miranda Kerr, to name a few) were also at the event?

The 21-year-old pop superstar wore head to toe Balmain, and he was seen joking around with the label's creative director, Olivier Rousteing on the red carpet. He posted selfies with Lady Gaga and party girl/supermodel Cara Delevingne as well, which definitely broke the Met's social media ban. Oops!

Meanwhile Kendall rocked a gorgeous green Calvin Klein Collection crystal-encrusted dress and showed off plenty of side boob, and her mom Kris Jenner palled around with Selena Gomez on the carpet. Um, seeing as Kenny is rumored to be hooking up with Bieber, don't ya think that's a little bit awkward?!

Once again Chris Brown is in hot water with Johnny Law. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department have named Chris Brown an official suspect in a violent basketball-related brawl, Us Weekly reports.

The alleged incident occurred at the Palms Casino Resort early Monday morning.

"At approximately 3:42 a.m. on May 4, 2015 LVMPD patrol officers responded to Sunrise Hospital to investigate a report of a subject who had been beaten," the statement from authorities read. "Arriving officers made contact with an adult male being treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained as a result of a battery."

Brown allegedly punched the victim while playing a game of basketball. "A verbal altercation on the court led to a physical fight and the victim was punched by another male subject who was later identified as 25-year old recording artist Chris Brown," police told the mag. "The victim prepared to defend himself and was then hit by another male reportedly with Brown."

According to the police, the alleged victim took himself to the hospital.

"Mr. Brown has been given the option of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery, or having the case submitted to the Clark County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution," the statement concluded. "At that time, Mr. Brown would receive a summons to appear in Clark County Justice Court."

It's possible Brown should give up shooting hoops all together. In 2013, a man accused Brown of beating him up during a game at the 24 Hour Fitness in Hollywood. The alleged victim sued the 25-year-old singer.

We just wish Chris Brown would stay home and never leave -- that dude's the worst.

Pregnant Ashlee Simpson may look like her sister Jessica Simpson -- but she's definitely not following in her footsteps in regard to how she takes care of herself while she has a bun in the oven. Instead of eating buttered Pop-Tarts like her big sis did when she was preggers, Ashlee, who is just weeks away from giving birth, is staying fit and hitting the gym with her hubby Evan Ross. The former singer must have had a good workout because she is looking flushed!

Keeping herself hydrated with a bottle of Smart Water, the 30-year-old donned a Nike shirt, cropped leggings and what looks like a linen trench coat. Evan opted for a white tank and black pants for the gym trip. We aren't feeling her style so much, but we love that she's kicking it in to high gear to keep herself and her baby healthy during her second pregnancy.

The proud soon-to-be parents were married at Diana Ross' home in Greenwich, Connecticut in August. Shortly after, Ashlee found out she was expecting on Thanksgiving Day.

The blonde is due to welcome her first daughter in the summer. The former reality star has one son, Bronx Mowgli, with ex Pete Wentz.

Girlfriend knows how to smile through the pain!

Selena Gomez didn't look like a girl who has been being bullied online when she grabbed dinner at Locanda Verde last night in NYC, but we have a feeling the singer is secretly pretty self conscious, considering how much she has been body shamed over her fuller figure in recent weeks.

Adding to her list of woes is the fact that ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber brought sexy model Shanina Shaik (pictured below) as his date to the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas this past weekend, and the "Come & Get It" songstress was reportedly less than thrilled.

"Selena has actually come a long way with regards to Justin. She’s not a prisoner to him anymore and she’s not thinking about him 24/7. Him going to the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight with Shanina confirmed what she’s thought all along — Justin really hasn’t changed. He still wants to have his cake and eat it, too. In fact, she’s relieved she didn’t go to the fight with him because he’s the same old Justin, always hooking up with one model to the next," a source dished to Hollywood Life.

Not only that, but the curvy brunette beauty plans on getting back at The Biebs by giving him the cold shoulder at tonight's Met Ball. "Selena’s goal at the Met Ball is to see Justin and turn him down. That would be such a major win for her — just once she wants to have the upper hand and feel self-empowered. This would be her way of finally closing this chapter in her life. She would love to flirt with Justin…and then just blow him off!" an insider told the website.

We just feel badly for her at this point!
