Kylie Jenner Shaves Her Head!

Posted on Tue Aug 12th, 2014 10:10am PDT       By X17 Staff

Well, a portion of it anyway!

Kylie Jenner turned 17-years-old on Sunday, and she celebrated the big day by giving herself a new buzz cut! The reality star is known as the edgy one of the Kardashian clan, but we think she took her role a little too far with this hairdo!

"So this happened yesterday," she captioned a photo of herself holding up her hair to show off her freshly shorn locks. Her drastic new look comes on the heels of a big weekend of partying with Tyga and Justin Bieber, attending the Teen Choice Awards, and hosting a dinner at Nobu Malibu for family and close friends.

Mama Kris better keep a close eye on her youngest daughter, because she definitely seems like a wild child!

Robin Williams Spoke About Struggles With Depression And Alcoholism Less Than A Year Before His Death

Posted on Tue Aug 12th, 2014 9:44am PDT       By X17 Staff

We're still stunned over the tragic news that Robin Williams took his life at his home in Northern California on Monday, and while his wife and daughter have released statements on his passing, the actor himself had been quite candid over the years about his battles with both depression and substance abuse.

In September of 2013, Williams appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote his new show The Crazy Ones, and he opened up about his troubles. "The only thing that was wired was me -- I was on everything but skates," Williams joked when referencing his days on the hit show Mork and Mindy. "I went to rehab in wine country just to keep my options open."

When asked what pushed him into a relapse when he was filming The Big White in Alaska in 2003, he stated:
"I think there's a higher power and there's also a lower power … And the same lower power goes you know, 'You need this. Come on now.' [When] I relapsed, I was up in Alaska and all of the sudden, I had been sober for 20 years and ... I walked into a store and saw a little bottle of Jack Daniels and went 'Ah, I'll be fine, I'll be ok.' The moment I had the first sip it was like, 'Rahhhh … Welcome back *sshole.'

A week later I was walking down the street with like, ten little bottles of Jack Daniels in my pockets, [and] I sounded like a f*cking wind chime. I got down so quick, I went right to blackouts. And it's a misnomer, they call it blackouts, [but] it's not -- it's like sleepwalking with activities. It's your brain going, 'We're gonna do stuff you're not gonna know!'"

On getting back on track, Williams added, "The main operative word is fear, the fear is there and you're trying to overcome it. If you can deal with the fear, and then realize that some of it is real and some of it isn't, and then come through that, you get deeper."

Williams also spoke about his struggle with a non-clinical form of manic depression during an interview with Terry Gross on the Fresh Air NPR radio show in 2006. "Do I perform sometimes in a manic style? Yes," the Oscar winner said. "Am I manic all the time? No. Do I get sad? Oh yeah. Does it hit me hard? Oh yeah." When asked specifically if he had a diagnosis of clinical depression, Williams said he did not. "No clinical depression, no. No. I get bummed, like I think a lot of us do at certain times," he said. "You look at the world and go, 'Whoa.' Other moments you look and go, 'Oh, things are okay.'"

When Williams spoke to Marc Maron during a 2010 WTF podcast, he even admitted that he had considered suicide while sitting alone in a hotel room with a bottle of Jack Daniels. Williams explained that his "conscious brain" told his drunk brain to "put the suicide over here in the discussion area" until he was sober. That same year, Williams chatted with Britain's Guardian newspaper, and he explained that his relapse was due to "fearfulness and anxiety." He told the publication, "It's just literally being afraid. And you think, 'Oh, this will ease the fear.' And it doesn't. It's just a general all-round argh ... For that first week you lie to yourself, and tell yourself you can stop. And then your body kicks back and says, 'no, stop later.' You feel warm and kind of wonderful ... And then the next thing you know, it's a problem, and you're isolated."

Williams was found dead in his home in Tiburon, California on Monday afternoon, and the Marin County Sheriff's department said in a statement, "At this time, [we] suspect the death may be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made." Williams' rep confirmed the news and added, "This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."

Taylor Swift Is A Vision In Cream And Crimson For The Giver Premiere

Posted on Tue Aug 12th, 2014 9:10am PDT       By X17 Staff

She really got dolled up for her big night!

Taylor Swift left her apartment to head to the NYC premiere of her film The Giver last night, and the singer looked stunning in a cream colored trench with a signature red dress underneath. Although she only has a supporting role in the flick, the blonde beauty really stole the show on the red carpet!

Fellow stars in attendance included Katie Holmes, Meryl Streep, and Jeff Bridges, among others. T-Swizzle's co-stars couldn't be more impressed with her acting chops, either!

"Her first day of work was right on the heels of arriving in Capetown. She was exhausted but she was such a pro and so up for being involved and playing and took right to the acting. I hope she continues the acting. She’s very talented, as well as being a great songwriter and performer. I believe she was Harvey Weinstein’s idea. He said, ‘Well, you’re being taught piano here’, and somebody who would be great for that part is Taylor. She came into his mind and I’m so glad she stepped on board. She had read the book and was a big fan. She’s terrific," Bridges recently gushed to WENN.

It wouldn't surprise us if she has her sights set on an Oscar in the future!

We love to see Katie Holmes looking so healthy, happy and silly!

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Joey Potter was challenged to play a hilarious new game called the Tonight Show Photo Booth. During the game, Jimmy and Katie took separate super silly pics on the iPad’s photo booth app to see if the other person can mimic it.

The 35-year-old actress, who was promoting her new film The Giver, and the funnyman couldn't help but giggle seeing the plethora of wacky faces -- and neither could we!

Check it out!

We have to say -- it's great to see Tom Cruise's ex wife finally out of the dark clouds of that relationship and back into the spotlight. We've always loved that famous side smile -- we're glad we finally get to see it again!

Robin Williams' Daughter Zelda And Wife Susan Release Statements About Actor's Death

Posted on Tue Aug 12th, 2014 8:10am PDT       By X17 Staff

Robin Williams' daughter Zelda Williams has released a statement about her father's shocking and sudden death.

Zelda, 25, wrote on Twitter:
"You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them. In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night ...You - only you will have stars that can laugh. I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up, Z."

In the late Oscar winner's final Instagram post last month, he posted a throwback picture of the two and wrote, "#tbt and Happy Birthday to Ms. Zelda Rae Williams! Quarter of a century old today but always my baby girl. Happy Birthday @zeldawilliams Love you!"

Zelda is Williams' daughter with his second wife Marsha Garces. Williams and Garces also have a son, Cody, and the actor and has another son, Zachary, with first wife Valerie Velardi.

Williams' wife Susan Schneider released her own statement to The New York Times and said:
"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one if its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robin's death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."

This is so sad. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.

Kim Kardashian Is A Bootilicious Babe In Burgundy

Posted on Tue Aug 12th, 2014 7:35am PDT       By X17 Staff

Kim Kardashian stepped out in New York City on Monday night for dinner at Cipriani, and from her gorgeous natural hair color to the fact that she's not wearing black, white or beige, this looks like the pre-Kanye Kim we all know and love! Well, maybe love is too strong of a word, but we do dig this look...

Kim will be appearing on The Today Show this morning, and we're not sure if the 33-year-old reality TV starlet will be promoting her sunless tanning cream, Keeping Up With The Kardashians or the family's clothing line, but we imagine she'll dish on hubby Kanye West and their 13-month-old daughter North.

Apparently the celebritot loves watching her mom get all glammed up, as Kim recently dished to to Life & Style, "North actually will totally sit on my lap and is fascinated when I’m getting my hair blown out. And when I’m getting my makeup done [too] I’ll give her a little makeup brush, and she’ll be entertained." Uh oh ... sounds like it's begun!

In other news, a totally awesome Instagram pic surfaced over the weekend of Kim and Kanye partying with Paris Hilton, Zac Efron and Diddy at Riccardo Tisci's 40th birthday party in Ibiza, Spain, on August 1. Film producer Mohammed Al Turki posted the snapshot and wrote, "the best photo from #Ibiza hands down #IbizaFam." We'd have to agree!

Four Robin Williams Films Set For Posthumous Release

Posted on Tue Aug 12th, 2014 7:06am PDT       By X17 Staff

Despite the untimely and horribly sad death of actor/comedian Robin Williams on Monday, the show will go on ... Four films will pay tribute to the funnyman who died of an apparent suicide yesterday at his Marin County home.

Due out later this year is Merry Friggin' Christmas, a comedy with Candice Bergen and Joel McHale.

A family favorite, the Night at the Museum franchise, will return to theaters in December, co-starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Rebel Wilson and others.

Williams also stars in Absolutely Anything due out next year. It's a sci-fi film featuring the Oscar winner's voice-over talents (he also voiced a character in Happy Feet).

Boulevard with Kathy Baker, screened at the TriBeCa Film Festival in April; the film's producers are still looking for distribution.

One project that may not see the big screen is a previously-scheduled Mrs. Doubtfire sequel. The film's director, Chris Columbus, told Variety in a statement: "His performances were unlike anything any of us had ever seen, they came from some spiritual and otherworldly place. He truly was one of the few people who deserved the title of 'genius.' We were friends for 21 years. Our children grew up together, he inspired us to spend our lives in San Francisco and I loved him like a brother. The world was a better place with Robin in it. And his beautiful legacy will live on forever."

His Mrs. Doubtfire co-star Sally Field added: "I feel stunned and so sad about Robin. I'm sad for the world of comedy. And so very sad for his family. And I'm sad for Robin. He always lit up when he was able to make people laugh, and he made them laugh his whole life long.... tirelessly. He was one of a kind. There will not be another. Please God, let him now rest in peace."

Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kellan Lutz And The Rest Of The Cast Take To The Red Carpet For The Expendables Premiere

Posted on Tue Aug 12th, 2014 6:40am PDT       By X17 Staff

Hollywood icons Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger greeted fans at the Hollywood premiere of The Expendables 3 Monday night at the TLC Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Young guns Kellan Lutz and Jason Statham added a sexy touch to the evening -- not to mention a somewhat comical one! Kellan took a fan's daughter to pose for a photo and started to walk away from her family at one point! No, Kellan didn't kidnap the youngster, but photographers were certainly snapping away!

In this third installment of the hit franchise, Barney [Stallone] adds some young blood to the team to take down Conrad Stonebanks [Mel Gibson], the Expendables co-founder and notorious arms trader who is hell bent on wiping out Barney and every single one of his associates.

The film's roster reads like a who's-who of Hollywood -- Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Statham, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Wesley Snips, Dolph Lundgren, Kelsey Grammer, Antonio Banderas, Victor Ortiz, Ronda Rousey, Kellan Lutz, Jet Li, and more ...

The film hits theaters in the US this Friday.
