Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin reportedly escaped to the Bahamas with daughter Apple, 9, and son Moses, 7, prior to announcing that they were ending their 11-year marriage, according to Us Magazine and Lainey Gossip.

Obviously they were anticipating a major media frenzy, but it's certainly not going to calm down when they get back! Still, it appears as though the split really is amicable, so kudos to them for keeping it civil for the sake of their two kids.

"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate," the couple said in a statement on the Oscar Winner's Goop website yesterday. "We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."

"We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been," the statement continued, noting that they are "parents first and foremost" to Apple and Moses. "We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."

The couple, who have been married since 2003, were apparently struggling for quite some time to work on their marriage. A source tells People they "really tried to make the marriage work, but sometimes it's best to not be married. They know that about each other now."

So what about those cheating stories, one or two of which were reportedly in that epic Vanity Fair takedown piece that was never published? A pal close to the actress says she finds the rumors "ridiculous. And you know what? She doesn't care what people think. She really doesn't, she knows the truth."

On Tuesday evening Kim Kardashian slipped into a see-through dress for dinner with fiance Kanye West, Anna Wintour and Harvey Weinstein in New York City, and she had no qualms showing off her granny panties and full coverage bra when we snapped her picture. Keepin' it classy!

Prior to that Kim made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and she chatted all about the couple's controversial Vogue cover. Kim revealed that they had absolutely no idea they would get the cover, and she kept the photo shoot a secret from her sisters by ... blaming it on Kanye?! Yup! Kim also shrugged off criticism that the duo didn't deserve the cover said:

"Just to be in the same name as so many amazing people that have been on the cover is such an honor, and to have Anna Wintour pick us, and I know that, it's like, the first of a lot. Kanye’s the first rapper to be on, I’m the first reality person to be on and the first interracial couple. All of these mean so much to Kanye and I ... it's honestly the biggest dream come true."

L'Wren Scott was laid to rest at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on Tuesday, and Mick Jagger, Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and Ellen Barkin were among the many famous faces saying their last goodbyes to the fashion designer.

The service was led by Reverend Ed Bacon from the All Saints Church in Pasadena, and Jagger and his family, along with Scott's brother Randall Bambrough spoke. The song "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" was performed by Bernard Fowler, a longtime backup singer for The Rolling Stones.

Scott was found dead inside her New York City apartment on March 17, and the cause of death was confirmed by the medical examiner to be suicide by hanging.

"I'm still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way," Jagger said in a statement on March 18. "We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. I will never forget her."

Angelina Jolie landed at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday evening with Maddox and Zahara in tow, and the trio were coming straight from CinemaCon, where Angie was promoting her new WWII film, Unbroken.

“I wanted to make this film because in the end, its message is one we all need now more than ever,” she told the audience at Caesars Palace. “It’s the journey of a man finding his way through the darkness and into the light. It is about an imperfect person — one who we and our children can relate to.”

Unbroken is a biopic about former Olympic athlete and World War II hero Louis Zamperini, and it's scheduled to hit theaters on Christmas Day.

In a post titled "Conscious Uncoupling", the actress details how the couple struggled to save their marriage but, in the end, decided it was best to call it quits.

"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separate, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate," she writes.

"We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner. The news spread so quickly, the Goop site actually crashed!

We bet the highly publicized Vanity Fair tell-all that ultimately never got released did little to strengthen their union, considering it was rumored to detail all the blonde beauty's affairs!

Lady Gaga went to the Tracie Martyn skincare spa in New York City on Tuesday afternoon, and though the pop star was wearing an outfit that turned heads, she kept her face covered up.

While Gaga is known for her outlandish attire and even more shocking behavior (we can't get the vomit painting incident out of our heads), she claims she's totally submissive with longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney!

Gaga called in to Sirius XM's The Morning Mash Up on Monday and said, "He's totally in charge. I mean, when I am home, I am like, shoes are off, I'm making him dinner. He has a job, too, and he is really busy! I'm in charge all day long, the last thing I want to do is tell him what to do. It's not good for relationships to tell men what to do." The two started dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of her music video for "You and I."

Justin Bieber is the latest celeb to jump on the #mycalvins bandwagon, and while he didn't even bother hashtagging the above photos, he's already caused quite a stir with the shirtless snapshot!

Bieber posted the Instagram pic on Tuesday and wrote, "What if I do a Calvin Klein campaign? Comment below yes or no." Um, obviously we're voting yes! And we have a feeling most of the Beliebers out there would agree, but would CK actually hire the bad boy pop star to front one of their campaigns? They did use Mark Wahlberg back in the day ... and this was before he settled down and had a bunch of kids.

In other news, the Biebs finally uploaded a more detailed shot of his newest tattoo, and it looks like he's well on his way to having another sleeve! Or is he? "Done with tats 4 a while," he wrote. "Where I wanna be.." But given how many he's amassed over the last few years, we doubt it...

We still can't believe the mother-of-three is only in her thirties considering how much she's accomplished!
