After Usher and Tameka Foster's 5-year-old son Usher Raymond V nearly drowned in the singer's pool on Monday, Foster posted a picture on Instagram of the little boy in the hospital on Thursday.
"My favorite 5 year old. What a blessing!" she wrote. "I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident. URV had an angel named Kile Ishmael and our Lord and true savior to look after him. Words cannot express the relief and how thankful to God I truly am. Thank you Jehovah God, Jesus and Kile . . . also The AV worker that saved my son is my Hero!!! Period."
According to reports, Usher's son attempted to get a toy from the pool drain but his arm got stuck, and when his aunt and a maid weren't able to free him, two male employees finally came to the rescue and pulled him to the surface.
Usher said in a statement two days after the frightening accident, "I am blessed and fortunate to say that my son Usher V is doing well and is recovering. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers, love and support for my family's well-being. I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock. I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son's life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them."
The day after the scare, Foster filed legal documents in Fulton County, Georgia asking for an emergency custody hearing. Foster is demanding custody of their two boys, claiming that Usher is allowing unfit people to care for their children, thus creating an unsafe environment. The hearing will take place today.

Amanda Bynes' involuntary psychiatric hold has been extended for another 30 days, and just a few minutes ago a judge at the Oxnard Courthouse granted her parents a temporary conservatorship.
A legal proceeding took place last night to extend Bynes' stay at Hillmont Psychiatric Center, and doctors also declared that Bynes was not well enough to leave the hospital to attend her conservatorship hearing this morning.
The 30-day extension is technically a state temporary mental health conservatorship, but the temporary one that was just granted to her parents will now give them the authority to manage her finances. The temporary conservatorship will last until September 30, at which point there will be another hearing to decide whether to make the conservatorship permanent.

During a Today show interview recorded on Thursday night, Jimmy Fallon revealed that he and his wife Nancy Juvonen, 46, had their daughter Winnie, who was born on July 23, via surrogate.
"My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby. We tried a bunch of things – so we had a surrogate."
The 38-year-old Late Night with Jimmy Fallon host also admitted in his interview with Savannah Guthrie that he had kept the pregnancy secret from both friends and colleagues.
"We said, 'We’re not going to tell anybody.' It’d be just more fun if it’s just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody." Which is exactly what the couple, who have been married since 2007, did.
We wondered why no one noticed that Nancy had been pregnant in the months prior to the surprising birth announcement -- it's because she wasn't! Secret or no secret -- we are happy for the new family of three!

What is with the Kardashian clan and their paternity disputes?!
Kourtney Kardashian is involved in a legal battle over son Mason after male model Michael Girgenti filed a paternity lawsuit claiming he is the biological father of the reality star's young son.
Girgenti, who met Kourtney on a photo shoot they did together in 2008, alleges he had unprotected sex with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star when she was on a break from boyfriend Scott Disick, who is acknowledged as Mason's father.
Nine months later her son was born, and Girgenti believes he has a strong enough resemblance to Mason that he has requested the courts administer DNA tests on Kourtney, Scott, Mason, and him. The judge set a hearing for next month.
Let's hope Lord Disick is the real father, or else this is about to get embarrassing!

After Leah Remini filed a missing persons report for Scientology leader David Miscavige's wife Shelly, the Los Angeles Police Department has closed the case because they were able to find the woman.
Additionally, Media Relations from the Church of Scientology International released the following statement:
"The Los Angeles Police Department has already stated that the case is closed and that the report filed by Leah Remini was unfounded. This ill-advised, ludicrous self-promotion and the media inquiries it generated caused an inexcusable distraction for the LAPD in an era when the time and resources of its officers are stretched thin each day. Creating this unnecessary burden for law enforcement was even more irresponsible given the entire episode was nothing more than a publicity stunt for Ms. Remini, cooked up with unemployed, anti-religious zealots who blog on the fringe of the Internet. Sadly, rather than move on with her life and career, Ms. Remini has aligned herself with a handful of untrustworthy, lunatic tabloid sources who obsessively harass the Church to advance their selfish agendas."
Though various reports note that Shelly has not been seen in public for nearly six years, veteran Scientology reporter/former Village Voice editor Tony Ortega claims she's living at a private Scientology compound outside Los Angeles. Additionally, an attorney for Shelly told Us Weekly that she is "not missing ... Any reports that she is missing are false. Mrs. Miscavige has been working non-stop in the Church, as she always has."

Does this mean the wedding is actually happening?!
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made their first red carpet appearance in 14 months at last night's premiere of the actor's new flick Paranoia in L.A., and although it looks like the volatile couple is back on after breaking up earlier this summer, reports claim all isn't what it seems!
The "We Can't Stop" singer was sporting her engagement ring and attempted to be affectionate with her beau to silence the split chatter, but all her efforts might have been merely an act.
"Miley and Liam acted like they didn't even know each other the entire night. She was wearing her ring but they acted as if they were strangers," a source dished to Us.
Don't count on the Aussie hunk clearing up the confusion anytime soon, either!
"On Twitter, I don't share anything personal. I try to keep as much of my personal life to myself. I don't feel the need to go out and show the world what's happening in my life every second. I think it's a good chance to connect with fans and give fans an inside look on films you do. I think it's great for that kind of thing, but it's very new to me," he added.
