What exciting news!

Sofia Vergara and fiance Nick Loeb have enlisted the help of a surrogate to have a biological child, Page Six reports.

The couple have asked a close friend to carry the child, and reportedly the implantation procedure has already taken place, so they are waiting to hear if it was successful.

"A procedure has taken place, and Sofia and Nick will find out in a few weeks if it was successful, if the surrogate is pregnant, and if they will become parents. A baby is something they've both wanted for a while, particularly Nick, who has been pushing for it. He is a little uneasy that the surrogate is Sofia's close friend, but is very excited about becoming a father," the source revealed.

The Latin beauty is already a mom to son Manolo, 21, but this will be the first child for her beau.

On Thursday Britney Spears was snapped leaving a tanning salon in her neighborhood, and the pop star looked quite curvy in this tight purple turtleneck! While were glad to see Brit is getting some support from a bra, we can't help but wonder if she picked the wrong size -- that thing does NOT look comfortable!

Anyway, Brit has been hitting the gym hard this winter, and this isn't the first time we've spotted her getting a good old fashioned fake 'n bake. She still hasn't confirmed where she's doing her Vegas concert residency, but wherever she ends up, we're sure her tanned and toned bod will look amazing in the crazy costumes she'll be wearing onstage!

Selena Gomez attended the Alliance For Children's Rights dinner in Beverly Hills last night, and she struck a pose with the organization's CEO and President, Janis Spire.

Last fall Los Angeles Magazine named Spire to their 2012 Game Changers list of women “because she never stops thinking about how to protect L.A.’s most vulnerable residents -- neglected and abused kids.” Glad to see Selena is getting involved with them!

January Jones arrived back home at LAX last night, and the Mad Men star certainly didn't look like anything was wrong, despite being in the center of a love triangle!

In case you haven't heard, the actress reportedly made out with Miley Cyrus' fiance Liam Hemsworth at a pre-Oscar party, and now the Hannah Montana star is stepping out without her engagement ring and hitting the town with a mystery man.

Joy Behar is leaving The View after a sixteen year run on the daytime talk show, ABC confirms.

"Joy Behar has been instrumental in the success of The View from the very beginning. We wish her all the best in this next chapter, and are thrilled that we have her for the remainder of the season," the rep said in a statement.

The TV journalist is looking to move on to other projects, which include writing a play and doing standup. She also has her own shows on HLN and Current TV. On top of it all, she is rumored to be in talks with CNN president Jeff Zucker on an unnamed project.

We're sad to see her go, but at least we still have Barbara Walters!

It was easy to see why Alessandra Ambrosio is one of the world's most beautiful models on Thursday as the brunette beauty donned a bikini for a Victoria's Secret photo shoot in Santa Monica.

The 31-year-old model had no problem striking a pose despite the chilly temperatures by the beach alongside fellow model Adriana Lima. Must be hard work to be that gorgeous!

You won't find Britney shopping on Rodeo Drive, no siree, this Louisiana girl spends her free time at the Albertsons in Westlake Village.

Ooooohhhh; it's ON! After Liam's reported hookup with January Jones, Miley's not taking this lying down ... Ms. Cyrus ditched her engagement ring (we had the EXCLUSIVE photos yesterday) and now she's partying with a mystery man!

Miley's new boy picked up the singer last night and the two rode together to a friend's birthday party in North Hollywood. He arrived in his own car and then took the wheel in Miley's Porsche Cayenne, chauffeuring MC round-trip.

At pair spent two and a half hours at the shindig -- our photographers heard "Happy Birthday" being sung inside. We spotted her boy drinking a glass of wine and Miley enjoyed some too, we're told.

The two headed home fairly early - around 10pm.
