We're not sure what the theme of the party was, but Violet and Seraphina sure look adorable!

Over the weekend Jennifer Garner took her two daughters to a pal's birthday bash in Brentwood, and we're guessing hubby Ben Affleck is happy to have her back in town!

Jen spent most of last week in New Orleans wrapping up shooting on The Dallas Buyers Club, and from karate to school, Ben was on double duty with both of the couple's oldest children. Of course, we're sure he's happy to have her back for the holidays and not just because she's usually the one looking after their three kids!

Kat Von D and Deadmau5 (nee Joel Zimmerman) are engaged!

"I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?" the deejay tweeted yesterday. Her reply? ""Mi corazon! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiance!"

Deadmau5 then replied, "Holy f*cking sh*t. I'm engaged and stuff! Thanks for the well wishes and support from the horde and everyone else! Brb while i spend the rest of my evening with my future wife." The deejay posted a photo of the engagement ring, and it looks like it'll be the perfect fit for Kat:



While we're happy for the couple, we are a bit surprised, as they've only been dating for 4 months and already had one major split. In November, Kat confirmed that the two had broken up and tweeted, "Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. Lesson Learned ... Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together." A few days after their Twit split, we spotted the two together, and on Friday they were joined at the hip after a lunch date.

Dita Von Teese attended her perfume launch at Fred Segal on Saturday, but she was a little bit late after a minor wardrobe mishap. Dita tweeted a photo of her cat Aleister sitting on her outfit and wrote, "Slightly late to my perfume event at Fred Segal because this happened to my freshly pressed vintage Mugler suit."

Oops! Looks like a lint brush might have solved her problems, because when we snapped her picture, she looked amazing ... and we didn't see a single cat hair on her!

Paris Hilton dined at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills with beau River Viiperi and her parents on Saturday night, and the heiress slipped into a super hot red dress and fishnet stockings. That's one way to get into the holiday spirit ... and get our attention!

After dinner, P and River went home to watch movies (Elf and This Is 40, if you must know), and River tweeted, "After a Wonderful Dinner W/ my Baby Love @ParisHilton, @KathyHilton & Rick Hilton @Mrchows, Time to pack & watch a Movie #Aspen #DoubleDate." Sounds like a blast!

Mad Men star Jon Hamm and longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt were spotted holding hands in Los Feliz on Saturday afternoon, and we can't believe these two have been together for 14 years! That's practically an eternity in Hollywood!

However, it doesn't look like Jennifer is going to be walking down the aisle anytime soon, as reports popped up earlier this fall that her beau has no interest in making things official.

"Jon and Jennifer have talked marriage before, but he's always shied away from it," a source told the National Enquirer. "Now, Jennifer's at a stage in her life when she wants stability, security and a family. So she worked up the nerve and told Jon it was time to get married or she was moving on. [But] Jon angrily told Jennifer that a wed­ding was not in their future. He said, 'If you want to get married, go right ahead. There's the door. Go find someone else to marry because it's not going to be me!'"

Um, yikes! But do we really believe that?

Over the weekend Johnny Depp was snapped taking off in his private jet, and we're not sure where he's headed, but he's definitely not bringing his kids with him! Maybe he's meeting up with rumored lady love Amber Heard for a romantic getaway?

Last night a bra-less Rihanna and a girlfriend went to Las Palmas in Hollywood, and the R&B superstar was NOT in the mood to have her photo taken. Maybe she was feeling a little stressed over work and the drama with her on-again/off-again beau, Chris Brown? That's our best guess...

After spending the day at the studio doing voiceovers for the upcoming animated flick Happy Smekday, RiRi tweeted, "Had a blast today! So weird recording for animation, but I get to keep my accent! AND it's PG, which mom should be happy about! Brrrap!!" So what was next on her agenda? Party time! Rihanna wrote, "Mama gets to blackout TONIGHT!!!!"

It may be December, but Mel Gibson is still rocking his man sandals!

The actor was snapped shortly after landing at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday night, and he was all smiles as he strolled through the terminal to his car. Mel purchased a few properties in Panama so he does spend quite a bit of time in the country, but it sounds like he's also still trying to get filming started on a biopic about Vasco Nunez Balboa, a Spanish conquistador. Apparently Mel's been working on the project since 2007, so maybe 2013 will be his lucky year?

But back to Mel's outfit ... weren't his toes freezing?!
