Jennifer Garner took her daughter Violet to the Farmers Market in Santa Monica over the weekend, and the ladies had a blast picking out fruit and other goodies.

While Jen has worked on a few projects over the past year (Butter and The Odd Life Of Timothy Green), she spends most of her time with her three children while hubby Ben Affleck is off working.

“My wife’s very patient. She does everything,” Ben said in a recent interview with Details Magazine. “If I have time, I try to spend time with the kids, even if just to be a physical presence, the bath, whatever. But my mind’s always going, ‘How are we going to light that shot tomorrow? What’s the master shot for that scene? Is there even going to be a master?’ Just ruminating endlessly. Because for me — I wish it was discipline or being a great artist. But it’s just anxiety.”

So will Ben be taking the weight off of Jen's shoulders anytime soon? Nope! “I don’t want to be a stay-at-home dad,” he added.

Amanda Bynes is reportedly checking into rehab at an undisclosed Southern California location, according to Rumor Fix.

After being arrested for a DUI in April (not to mention being charged with two counts of hit-and-run and having her vehicle impounded over the weekend), sources for the website say Bynes will be admitted either Tuesday night or sometime Wednesday.

The 26-year-old actress has apparently committed to doing a 30 day in-patient program, and an insider reveals that getting treatment "could help her escape jail time and possibly be sentenced to probation." Hmm, what would Lindsay Lohan have to say about this?

Bynes is scheduled to appear in court on September 27 to face the hit-and-run charges, but if she's in a 30-day program, it's not clear whether she'll be allowed to leave. We'll keep you posted!

Although the Ace Ventura star seems to have slowed down his acting career in the last couple years, Dumb and Dumber creator Bob Farrelly recently confirmed that the funny man is reprising his role as Lloyd Christmas in the 1994 hit comedy.

"It's definitely something we've been hoping for a long time. We always wanted to get the two original guys Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back together and see what they're up to. Now it's almost 20 years after the original and the other guys are in a point in their career where they had so much fun the first time that they're willing to do it. We will make this movie," Farrelly explained.
