Lady Gaga knows how to have a good time! The singer is set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday but she had some time to let loose Friday night before rehearsals today!

The Lady and her pals hit up The Beverly Club with a bar hosted by DeLeon Tequila and Ciroc Vodka and our source inside the party tells us: "Gaga was the ultimate guest -- everybody wanted to be around her and she was having such a great time, laughing and hugging everyone."

Gaga's opening tomorrow's awards show and she gave fans a hint at her highly-anticipated performance today, offering these words: "Right now, I'm obsessed with the archetypes of our psychology and all the different people we can become or have become in the past. Our potential for the future and how do we in our minds sort of compartmentalize our different personalities. So that's something that I'm fascinated with right now. It's almost as if I'm reviewing my life as a play."

In the words of Shakespeare (yes, we're quoting Shakespeare on X17online): "All the world's a stage; And all the men and women are merely players." In Gaga's case, the world is HER stage and she's the #1 playa'!

The F-1 racing heiress is tying the knot with businessman James Stunt in Odescalchi Castle where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in 2006. Petra's dad Bernie is sparing no expense on the event -- he's reportedly dropping $2.1 on the nuptials and another $1 million to pay Fergie and her Peas to perform! Family friend Eric Clapton will perform for the couple during their first dance.

And after all the celebrating and honeymoon are over, the 22-year-old and her 28-year-old hubby will head back to LA and move into their new home -- the old Spelling mansion Petra snatched up for a cool $85 million.

LeAnn Rimes is gearing up for her big day on Sunday ... No, not the VMA's, her birthday!

The super sexy singer-actress did a little shopping, grabbed lunch at Taverna Tony's in Malibu and headed out for a facial ahead of her 29th birthday.

LeAnn's been busy racking up frequent flier miles, jetting back and forth between LA and Chicago where her hubby Eddie Cibrian is shooting the new NBC series Playboy. In fact, on her way back to LA the other day, Rimes Tweeted: "Love you Chi Town, but I'm headed back to the motherland LA for my bday w/ the fam & friends! Ahhh, I can't wait!"

Newlyweds Kim Kardashian and hubby Kris Humphries are back in the U.S. of A. after a quickie honeymoon to Italy.

The cute couple rushed back to LA just ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, during which, it was revealed today, Kim will be seated next to hottie Taylor Lautner. Wonder if Kris is okay with that!

Then next week, the pair will jet off to New York to celebrate their wedding with east coast friends who couldn't make it to their Montecito nuptials last weekend.

We hope this never-ending wedding celebration means Kim and Kris will have a never-ending marriage!

After spending a good chunk of August in New York City, the Don't Be Afraid of the Dark star spent Friday afternoon out in Beverly Hills with her daughter Suri.

The two made the perfect mother-daughter pair on the scorching L.A. day - Katie wore an army green jacket, pastel tank, floral skirt and her fave tan booties, while 5-year-old Suri wore an adorable bright pink dress and pigtails and a headband.

As for those inked chains on Katie's wrist, the actress' rep says the henna tattoo is just for fun.
