Carson Daly is hosting the new Mark Burnett musical competition series The Voice - premiering on April 26th - and now Grammy winners Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine are confirmed as coaches.

"It’s an honor for me to be able to help mold a malleable and new talent in such a fashion as The Voice, said Cee Lo in a statement. “Being a coach on The Voice is a substantial responsibility, and I take it with sincerity and distinction."

And Adam Levine said the following: "I was absolutely thrilled to be invited by Mark Burnett to join The Voice as a coach. I look forward to working with these singers and helping them push forward throughout the competition to make their musical dreams become a reality."

The NBC show - which features mentors picking singers during blind auditions and then developing their own teams of singers - will have a total of four coaches...

When we first reported about the show, Burnett was apparently wooing Christina Aguilera.

Christina Aguilera's arrest with current beau Matthew Rutler will not impact her custody agreement with ex-husband Jordan Bratman regarding their son Max, according to custody specialist Michael Kelly.

Kelly tells X17online exclusively:

"Fortunately for Christina Aguilera, she wasn't driving. The event had nothing to do with the child. The child wasn't present. There was no innate nor overt behavior reflecting on her parenting abilities."

As for whether Max's dad Jordan Bratman will be able to keep Matthew Rutler from seeing his son, Kelly adds:

"Courts do not ban the birth person's significant other from seeing the child. However, the other parent can order 'no alcohol or drugs for 24 hours' before the parent in question or her boyfriend sees the child.

There is no chance this incident will affect the custodial litigation in this case. There has to be a significant trend of behavior indicating the parent is a bad caregiver. One bad night out isn't going to change anything."

At the time of their separation five months ago, Christina had sought joint legal and physical custody. However in court papers filed last month, the couple said they had privately come to an agreement regarding custody of 2-year-old son Max.

Katie Holmes is suing American Media Inc., the publishers of Star Magazine, over a recent cover story claiming that Katie Holmes abuses drugs.

Despite the fact that the inside story doesn't actually claim any real drug abuse, Holmes feels that the cover, which screams "ADDICTION NIGHTMARE - Katie DRUG SHOCKER! – The Real Reason She Can’t Leave Tom" is suggestive enough to prompt legal intervention.

In a lawsuit filed today in federal court, Holmes claims that Star's "vicious lies about plaintiff, designed to hype the sale of its sleazy tabloid magazine, were calculated to cause severe harm. The average reader (would) understand that plaintiff has become shockingly addicted to drugs... There is no other way to understand them. The cover even created the false impression that, but for plaintiff's nightmare drug addiction, she would 'leave' her husband."

In order to win the suit, Katie must prove prove defamation occurred, injury to their reputation happened as a result, the magazine intended malice and knew they were publishing false information.

David Beckham, a friend of the Cruises', recently lost a lawsuit against In Touch over a cover story that claims he had an affair with a prostitute. Beckham sued the mag for libel, slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress, but failed to prove In Touch acted with malice.

Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Usher and 50 Cent are facing calls from music industry insiders to return the millions they made performing for members of controversial Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi's family members.

Mariah Carey reportedly earned $1 million in 2008 to sing only four songs for Qaddafi's son, Muatassim, during a New Year's Eve bash in St. Barts.

Beyonce and Usher also performed for an undisclosed sum for family members on the same Caribbean island just one year later. 50 Cent performed for Muatassim at a 2005 film festival in Venice.

"If it were me, it would go to charity," says Buck Williams, an agent for R.E.M. and Widespread Panic. As for what these performers, who are millionaires several times over, should do with this cash, "Hopefully donate it to a charity that somehow assists some of the people who have suffered at the hands of that regime," an agent for Arcade Fire told Rolling Stone.

Artists faced similar criticism decades ago after playing at a resort in South Africa during apartheid. Rod Stewart, Queen and the British band Status Quo donated money to charities after facing similar outcries.

But despite the current unrest going on in his country, Quaddafi didn't suddenly become a bad guy. In 1988, he ordered the bombing of a Pan Am flight over Lockerbie, Scotland, which resulted in the deaths of 270 people. So why would they perform for such a corrupt ruler in the first place?

"Ninety percent of the time the artist has no clue," says Williams. "I don’t think most artists go into [performing at a party like this] with that kind of in-depth focus, [of] how each country is governed and what goes on inside each country," an agent for Metallica, Billy Joel and Rod Stewart said. "Not every artist is a humanitarian. In more cases than not, for people, greed rules."

But for one artist, that's clearly not the case. On Friday, Nelly Furtado tweeted:

"In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Qaddafi clan to perform a 45 min. Show for guests at a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate the $"

Prior to doing interviews with every media outlet in the country, Charlie Sheen sat down with GQ and revealed that he had no plans of cutting back on his partying. "I spent the first 45 years living a semi-inauthentic life," he said in the magazine's April issue. "Now my promise to myself is that everything I do will be authentic."

While Sheen seems on a mission to have fun and do whatever he wants, those around him are a bit concerned and are speaking out. Porn star Kacey Jordan, who partied with the actor before his hospitalization last month, tells the mag Sheen asked her to hold and comfort him during his 36 hour bender at his Los Angeles home. "I think he was scared," she said. "I could see the pain. That night I knew ... This is the most self-destructive person I have ever met."

Oscar winner Sean Penn, who grew up with Sheen said, "When you divorce, the moral judgments, which I prefer to do, I see a guy who has a clearer view of the nature of the world around him than is sometimes comfortable to have. Those are the sort of people who have a tendency to find altered states. But he's a very ironic character. He's got pretension in the crosshairs of his wit. I think to a large degree he's saying, 'Guys, we're only going to be here once, so lighten the f*ck up.'"

Hmm, but what about the porn stars and cocaine rumors? Isn't it kind of convenient that Penn didn't bring that up? Surely this interview took place after Sheen's incident at the Plaza hotel in NYC last October...

Matthew Rutler was caught driving to girlfriend Christina Aguilera's home after picking up his silver Mustang at the impound yard.

Rutler was booked for DUI after blowing a .09 BAC during a traffic stop last night in West Hollywood. Sheriff's Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore says Rutler was "driving eratically." Xtina's beau was released from jail on $5000 bail.

Aguilera was booked, fingerprinted and put in a jail cell for over six hours while her "head clears." Whitmore adds that at the time of the arrest, the 30-year-old singer, who was in the passenger seat, didn't know where she lived. Aguilera was booked on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.

Matthew Rutler has been booked and released from the West Hollywood's Sheriff's station. Christina Aguilera's boyfriend was arrested last night for DUI after blowing a .09 BAC.

The sheriff's department released the following info:

"Singer Christina Aguilera was the passenger in the vehicle. Deputies determined Aguilera was intoxicated. Since she was not able to care for her safety and no one was immediately available to ensure her safety, Aguilera was taken into custody.

Ms. Aguilera was cooperative and was not involved in any criminal activity. She was released at about 7:30AM when she was able to safely care for herself. Because she was taken into custody solely for her safety and the safety of the public, no charges will be filed. As a result, her booking photo will not be released."

Xtina was booked, fingerprinted and put in a jail cell for over six hours while her "head clears." Whitmore adds that at the time of the arrest, Aguilera didn't know where she lived. The singer was booked on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.

Lindsay Lohan's younger brother Michael Jr. checked out an impressive set of freckly pecs after surfing in Malibu Monday.

Joined by brother Cody, the Lohans braved the cold, but sunny weather to hit the beach before Lindsay appeared on her first interview since rehab.

Michael Jr., who joined his mother and other siblings in LA last week to visit Lindsay during her latest legal troubles, is set to re-enter the family business with a role in Growing Defiant (produced by mom Dina), where he'll play a heroin addict.

Although this will be his first starring role, Michael, Jr. did have a minor role in one of his sister's early films -- click through to see which one!
